Dude...You're a fucking JACKASS! I give the Giants all the props in the world! They shut down a GREAT offense and deserve to be champions! The 1972 Miami Dophins are the biggest fraud of a team the NFL has ever seen! Their opponents winning percentage that season was .356, and they were underdogs in the Super Bowl, even after being 16-0, going into the game! As I said before, the 72 Dolphins aren't even ranked in the top 10 of best NFL teams, EVER!

Yeah, BUT they still went undefeated, something the Patriots can't claim now.

Jackass or not, after over three decades, there is only one perfect team, and that would be the 1972 Miami Dolphins.

All the rest are second best! Thank you NY GIANTS!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

That's the only negative about the Pats losing tonight. The stupid 1972 Dolphins who wouldn't even make the playoffs in today's NFL.

Who gives a shit, really! Listen, the Giants won the game, fair and square, and the Patriots didn't play anywhere near well enough to win the game! I can assure you that despite this loss, football fans around Boston aren't jumping off of bridges. I've been watching football long enough to understand that ANY team can beat ANY team, at ANY time! That's football! If you don't show up to play, you're going to get beat, regardless of what you're record is!

The Dolphins can have their "perfect season". It doesn't change the fact that they don't rank in the top 10 teams of all time in the NFL, so it really doesn't mean anything! They played nobody, and I suspect another team might have pulled off an undefeated season that year, with that soft of a schedule! This isn't about the Dolphins or the Patriots, at this point! The Giants are world champs!

I will tell you that if anyone really believes the Patriots won't be heard from again, they are beyond delusional! Tom Brady is all of 30 years old, so he's not going anywhere! They'll be back! We'll just have to start a new streak next season!

None of the teams back then would be able to remotely compete against today's steroid-enhanced athletes.

Look, I didn't come in here busting on the Pats but this just sounds like sour grapes to me.

Manning won MVP, but I think the key to the game was the Giants' pass rush. But that last drive was awesome.

The 72 Dolphins could not beat the 2007 Dolphins.

Your definition of "sour grapes" is VERY different than mine! Sour grapes would be if I came in here making excuses for why the Patriots lost, or saying the Patriots got robbed, or saying the Patriots played better, but somehow got screwed by the officials! I said none of the above, so I really don't know where your comment even comes from. I've been watching NFL football for over 30 years, and appreciate the history of the game. My comment about the Dolphins not ranking in the top 10 NFL teams of all time has nothing to do with the Patriots. I felt that way, long before the Patriots ever won a single Super Bowl! This world will be a better place when the 1972 Dolphins are put out to pasture, permanently! Their act is VERY tired, and most people outside of Miami can't stomach any of them!

Bellichick is a sore, cry baby loser bitch. Fucker was walking up the tunnel as he left his team to mop up the mess.

Booo fucking Hooo.

Good to see a Boston team under the boot of a NY team once again. Let that miserable fucking city suffer another 80 years of sports tragedy. It's good for them...when you wrap your arms around a cheater, you get what you deserve.

It was a great game. Not a blow out, those games are boring.
The power and passion that Steve Perry has in his delivery is what won me over to be a huge fan.

Where are all the 19-0 T shirts?

I bet kids in Sri Lanka, Guatamela, Costa Rico and Somalia all are wearing those now.

I just hope that the Patriots lose their first game of the season next year, so it can just be a normal season! The undefeated shit made my head hurt! It's a lot easier to go through a season without one manufactured story after another and just play football!

You handled yourself with class the whole season, dude. Sorry your team couldn't finish it for you.

But some good news - the Pats have a new logo and sponsor for the 2008 season. :P
