Well, they don't call that fucking place Berserkeley for nothing. About a month after the U.S. got involved in blowing up the Taliban, Berserkeley came out and fully protested military operations. They even went as far as to ban yellow ribbons which were placed in places such as outside homes of families who had loved ones involved in the conflict overseas. But doing that, they fucked up big time and the city started to become bankrupt because the general public pretty much banned doing any type of business in that city. The city was so despirate that in order to try and attract shoppers back to their shit town, they had this stupid drawing every day where if you put in a receipt from something you purchased in a business there, they would do a drawing and whosever reciept is pulled out of the hat would win a $100.00 bucks. They did a hand full of drawing every day. This was simply to unfuck the situation they had gotten themselves in.

Earlier this week, this story came out in our local news. But since then the city is now starting to lax down on what they started. And the Marines have no intentions of leaving, which I'm happy for.
