AHHHHH, gotcha!! yes, it can be sour, had some the other night as a matter of fact, homemade from my mom. I think she puts just a DASH of sugar in it, to easy the sourness a little. Good stuff!! I am half German!




You've got about 25% on me....does your mom make Waser Kipfels and Streudel as well? I haven't had these things since my (paternal) grandmother passed away..... MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

My dad was the German and outside of German chocolate cake, :P not much else authentic was made...even by his mom. Now, my mom's side is Lebanese and my mom, sister and I are all about making that cusine!
