Hmmmmm...Didn't the whole "American Idol" thing start on the other side of the pond, in England?

Saint John, Saint John, Saint John,,,,,

• You say Soccer is so popular cause all you need to play the game is a ball. Last I checked, it was the same for football

• The (American) Football’s creator’s couldn’t come up with an original name, so they had to ‘steal’ the name football from what the rest of the world knows as FOOTBALL, but they call it soccer here. The name makes more sense in a game where you use your feet all the time. In (American) Football, 98% of the time you DON’T use your feet to play the ball

• Funny how 3 weeks ago you told me you enjoyed soccer, but you now don’t cause :

• You mainly sarted this thread to get Deano back here to post , which is great :)

• Knowing your heritage, next time you make a smelly euro reference, just remember, you’re one of them ;)

• The people say that they don’t get Soccer, just an excuse,,, how hard is it to figure out that if one team puts the ball in the opposing teams goal its rewarded ONE point. It doesn’t matter from where you shot the ball.

• They do have a clock that’s a bit more efficient than the one they use in baseball ;):P . Also what’s the point to have an official clock (like in football), when half the time its running there is no play and half the time its stopped there is still some play going on(just like the last second of the game, where the time reaches zero, but you can still finish that play till you get a touch down or get sacked.) that just a big fuck you to the clock, if you ask me .

• This argument will never be settled. This isn’t the 1st time, nor the last time its been brought up. This time it was brought up because of the reason I mentioned above ;).

• Soccer IS boring to watch on TV. The only time I personally enjoy soccer on TV is when the World Cup is on. Rest of the games are plain boring.

• HOCKEY RULES , all other sports suck ass :) I will teach you how to play videogame hockey next weekend , bro :)

•Deano, get your ass back in here, before we start a thread about how much Dokken Rocks and Bryan Adamas sucks :)
