Listened to almost the entire album today on the way to work. Need to finish it and perhaps listen again to be sure, but I don't exactly hate it.
DID I JUST SAY THAT????
It is pretty good in parts and I'm back to liking "Where Did I Loose Your Love". I positively hate "Sunshower" though, and I wasn't very taken with it to begin with (oh, and I really hate "After All These Years", too :::yawn::: ). "Faith In The Heartland"... What was the freakin' point???

Just like the GH re-records... They didn't make them any better either. Just a way to kick a couple of former vocalists in the balls, is my guess.

Oh, and yes, I do believe that these were many of the same songs that they were planning on using on the next album with Augeri. I can *so* here Steve singing many of these...

Well, except for "Sunshower".
They most certainly recorded the vocals in stages/pieces, because there is no way that Arnel could have corrected his accent *
that* well. I still hear it in many places, but nowhere near how bad it is live. He better work on that really hard, if they want to hold onto any fans that they draw in with this album. It's only so long that the accent will be forgiven live. I, myself, have no intention of seeing them live, but I may give the album a few more spins and live with it for a while before deciding if it should be shelved (purged) or not.
I definitely want to see/hear the other disks in the set, too. Although, I don't believe that I'd want to repeat them.
