For those who care...and which self-respecting Journey fan doesn't...here it is....'The Faz'.

I could type anywhere between 2,112 and 5,150 different piano names that are better than The Faz.

Acording to JonathanCain.com. it is....

"A 7.6 foot black Fazioli grand piano. “The Faz” hails from Italy and when Jon plays it, this piano just sings with the smoothest tones you can imagine."

Ah...there's a message from the Whale itself:

"He’s now living in Jonathan’s home studio and thanks the fans for making him feel so loved during his tenure with Journey!"

Did the whale receive a phone call from Jonathan to say it was being retired and he'd been "looking at other pianos"?

I demand to know.

FAZ sounded okay in Vegas in March, but it could've been Protools...

Come now. The Faz has the "Legacy Sound" that Cain so desires.

If you remember right Cain used "The Jay Essess" model for a year and a half, but didn't like the creative energy it brought to the table. He had to cut for the sake of his ego... HOWEVER, he made Kevin Cronin move the piano out of his house FOR him!

I've met the Faz. I worked with the band for a day and was looking at Jonathan's new piano. I said to a tech guy that the piano was pretty. He said, "That piano is worth more than my house."

I laughed, and he said, "I'm not kidding."

And then he threw you out after you placed a hot coffee cup on it and left a mark, right???????
Or rather, he called you some time later and fired you.
Yeh, that'd be how it went.

Seriously, has the Faz been instrumental in composing any of the new songs?
