Nah, I actually like that he does that. If he thinks he is being dissed and has an opinion to the contrary, I say go ahead and have a say.

Agreed. It makes me like JSS a little more every time he levels an usurper.

I actually feel the opposite way. I guess it just strips away a lot of the 'rock star' mystique.

 He's human?!

Oh, say it isn't so! : D I like the guy because there is no rock star mystique. What you see and what you hear is what you get.

To some performers, we're the "little people" and they could not care less about who we are or what we think.

My impression is that to Jeff, we are "folks who came to the show" and he's as appreciative of us as we are of him.

Sort of refreshing, actually.

Oh, the wheel in the sky keeps turning...

One thing everyone should try to learn
You can't sit on the fence all of your life
you can't please everyone
so you might as well learn to be yourself.

I feel pretty lucky he has bestowed upon us that honor.
I remember the first time when I realized who he was a few years ago.
I was impressed by him but not star struck.
I enjoyed the way he came in from time to time
Like a breath of fresh air
He has proven to be an genuine intelligent motivated funny real person
who has taken time out of his busy schedule to give us some of his insight.
He's earned my respect & more.

"Rock Star Mystique"
highly overrated
there's a person in everyone of them
some better than others

some pf us like to see the perspn
some of us want to live with an illusion

Hey, its a big world
As Burger King says

"Have It Your Way"

Just don't tell me how to live mine....

I can see why alot of 'Rock Stars' choose to keep away from forums etc cause you always get your fair share of people talking b0llox for reasons that are best explained by a Psychiatrist..

Personally i think its great a man of Jeffs pedigree is prepared to engage with the fans.. (and non-fans alike) I wish others would do so. It might help people understand that these people, though extremely talented in their fields are also normal-ish folk too.

Also dare i say some 'Rock Stars' are quite possibly genuine arseholes and do everything through their P.R people so the fans don't find out for themselves.. :)

Yes. I am calling you a liar, because you lie. Pretty simple.

All I needed to hear.

It may be all you NEEDED to hear, but rest assured you will hear more if you dont shut your mouth.

You could never shut my mouth...least of all in person. Remember that.

Another badass hiding behind a monitor and keyboard.
yeah ............sure he is ..........

I just find it funny that someone would feel threatened to the point where they would go to the trouble to puff out there chest and claim that someone else who they have probably never met could not "shut their mouth". You never know when the next person that you talk all big and bad to is going to be the one that will leave you walking around with your jaw wired shut. But I guess you can claim anything you want from behind the safety of your 19" flat panel. It is the nature of the "High Noon" playground that is the internet.

I guess you haven't been around long enough to see the famous Deano then? Dude, come on, in one thread we have tits and dicks..you mean you REALLY need to tell me you are bothered about an message board argument? This shit happens on here EVEEEERYYDAYY. This is one of the most entertaining threads in awhile. In one corner we have Behshad dry-humping the words of Jeff Scott Soto, telling Dan to shut the fuck up or else.. a "certified rock god" defending himself on the ropes because of what a fan said... and everyone else who follows that talks to JSS like he's 12 years old. (Get 'em Jeff, believe in yourself! ([cue Full House piano.)]

Both sides have valid points. Dan is right. It IS annoying how people talk about Soto. I think people react that way because they know he'll read their posts and feel "apart of the group." Whatever, it's annoying. The same annoying when you go over your girlfriend/boyfriends house and the gf/bf leaves you with their little brother for a minute then all that little brother talks about is how he is going to wrestle you ALL NIGHT LONG. That annoying.

And JSS fans are right. They have EVERY RIGHT to believe and stand proud of their favorite musician. Shit, that's why people are here, to express stuff like that. Behshad said it best in his post. Does it really matter to ANYONE what that person likes? No.

JSS looks like a douche though. Does he REALLY need to come to the defense of himself? Come on now. If he was the professional and best in the business like people say he is, then he wouldn't call people over the internet fucktwits and argue with a fan. The fans are supposed to decide that.

That's what makes this thread so highly entertaining to actual see the fire that's being typed from every keyboard. Keep it up Ladies and Gentleman! Melodicrock.com never dissapoints.

I sure miss ol deano!

Where did he go, btw?????

I missed all that. What happened???

:?:

El Deano has been gone for couple of months now, where have YOU been ? lol
He is back in action at http://whatthefuck.forums1.net/index.htm ..... and this time he has no mercy!!! (like he ever did )

I've never met SJ or Tito. Wouldn't know them if I passed them on the street.
Behshad wrote:2 years ago you'd try to argue with me when me and AR would get into it

Never met AR. Wasn't at his party. NEVER asked to join the Annex. I don't remember him ever siding with me, but if he did, I'm sure he was right on whatever the issue was!
Behshad wrote:last year it was Dean whos nuts you sucked on every day

Are you insane. Dean and I clashed on everything!!!!! Politics, Football and Hockey. Good to know your delusion covers more than Jeff's inevitable superstardom after his stint in Journey.
Behshad wrote:and here we are.....same old RedwingFan, but this time youre in better shape cause now you have 2 leaders......And as far as I can tell the only Sandwish being served here these days is you as the lunchmeat with a SJ/Tito sesame bun, mayo included.

Yup same old. SJ and I don't disagree as much as Dean and I. But we've certainly had our go rounds.
I've never really had any posts to or from Tito. But one thing YOU have proved in this thread is that he was right in suggesting JSS talk be diverted to his empty forum.
At least Tito and SJ are fans of Journey. You are a self professed JSS fan who only got into Journey when he joined. Your time and digs here are what's causing the problems. And for the record if SJ or Tito went down to the JSS forum and started bringing up his concerts of dozens. I would agree that that is completely out of line. In this forum though, it's just facts that support Journeys decision to dump him. Have a nice day. :D

Chris Tucker is hysterical. But 3 Rush Hours? Please. I went to see it at the movie theater only because my girlfriend is a big Jackie Chan fan. They could have EASILY showed the first Rush Hour on screen that night and I wouldn't of known the difference.

Yeah, If I'm not mistaken, since the release of Rush Hour 1. He hasn't made any other films outside of that "franchise". :?

To be fair, he did say "paraphrase". And your quote is actually from Jackie Chan, Chris replies with "Man, NO ONE understands the words comin' outta your mouth!".

I know he did say paraphrase.
The quote I posted WAS from Tucker, when he picked Chan up at the airport in Rush Hour 1. Chan wouldn't speak. Tucker got in his face and yelled that line. :D Nobody cares about Rush Hour 2 or 3.

My bad...

I actually caught part of Rush Hour 3 this weekend. As long as you take it as a comedy it is alright. If Chris' voice wasn't so annoying, I think he could have been a "new" Eddie Murphy.

Other than Fifth Element and the Rush Hour series, what else did he do?

Don't tell me you never seen "Friday" Hilarious.
He was also in "Money Talks" with Charlie Sheen which was okay.

You can understand why I forgot Money Talks...the best thing in that was Heather Locklear (?).

I said this several pages ago and I'll say it again: Andrew is going to shit bricks when he finally sees this and it is at 15 pages. I can see it now, he'll have little Toby Thomas in his lap and he'll see this and say what the f*ck!
