No argument from me here. Joe has been a chain smoker, as long as I can remember. I'm not sure if he still smokes or not, but the damage has been done. I've never been able to wrap my head around the concept of a professional singer smoking! Hell, I don't grasp the concept of ANYONE smoking. It's just beyond belief to me that ANY singer would smoke ANYTHING! It's the equivalent of a guitarist squeezing his fingers into a vice

what I was saying is when he started he dreamed of being in a band. wasnt like he was born a gifted singer and he knew this from 6 years old. he admitted himself he dreamed more than really was, it happened and the rest is history. thats all I am saying. not like he had an opera singers voice since a young boy and all knew he had a gift.
