Please enlighten us, morally speaking, as to how it is appropriate to fire someone via proxy? You're either ignorant here or just unwilling to admit that it was wrong.
One of them may have been able to tell him he was gone. However, that's as far as it could've gone. They couldn't have answered any questions, etc. because of a possible lawsuit (which I believe came about). So, it was BEST to do it the way it was done. Through management/lawyers.
Speaking of ways rock band members have been fired ...........
when Lemmy [Motorhead] was in Hawkwind and they decided they wanted him out, didn't they just leave him behind on a tour of the USA?
I think they all got on the tour bus and drove off without him. Left him in the parking lot with just the clothes he was wearing. I think all his stuff was on the bus!
I think SJ and Tito would agree that this was really mean.
And I have never agreed with anything Tito has said so far, but he is right about Cronin. Cronin shouldn't have said anything. If he had kept his gob shut, JSS would have found out through the correct channels. BUT whoever told Cronin was more at fault because they probably were aware JSS didn't know. They should have kept quiet, too.
