OT - Songs you hate

Absolutely no way you'll listen to it from start to finish. What's your pleasure?

I'll start with:

The Bangles - Eternal Flame
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sxf6Xd75yUo

although I could watch Susanna with the volume off on it. :)

Total agreement on that one. Jeopardy's one of those that was overplayed. If I never hear it again, I'll be happy.

Funny though, one of my favorite songs is from Greg Kihn

The Breakup Song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hd4lHyJf7n0&

Also repetitive but more of a simple garage band sound.

I'm with you on Dead Or Alive. Between that and Oh Sherrie, I'd rather stick a crochet needle through my eardrums. Yuck!

I love DOA! The juke joint piano, the bullet fast "singing" and the jammin' guitar. This is a great clip of Perry. He's diggin' the tune and goes to church at 00:55. :)

Wanted! Dead or Alive!

Ice Cream Man is novelty. I'll laugh at it as long as I only hear it every couple years.

Unfortunately, this song is one of my guilty pleasures everytime I want to reminisce about an ex flame (ah, 89' was such a great year... :D )

Wing's Mull of Kintyre I can't stand.

Stairway to Heaven. It instantly depresses me to no end & reminds me of high school over 30 yrs ago where it was played constantly...I only listened to it all the way through about two years ago after reading that SP liked the group...nope, I still don't like it - I always think of slashing wrists. Although, I have since seen photos of the band and they weren't demonic looking at all...I was surprised. lol.

Jennifer Rush singing "The Power of Love". Ugh. Makes me want to smash something every time I hear it. Closely followed by Whitney Houston singing "I Will Always Love You" and Celine Dion doing that track from "Titanic".
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

That stupid song by Crow and Kid Rock about turning your picture to the wall while having meaningless sex with someone else. Country at it worst.

I HATE that song... It is absolutely country at its worst, and nothing more than a poorly-written cheesy corporate cash grab... haha! Even worse is hearing endless numbers of people singing the karaoke version.

It does get a bit old after a while but Schon's guitar solo is too good for me to turn away.

Don't get me wrong, I love most of Schon's work but some of his guitar solo's turn me away. Some are too long and muddied.

"Open Ams" and "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'"! Only Perry could ever have hits with two of the gayest songs ever written!
