Mickey by Toni Basil. Hands down the worst fucking song of the 80's. I wish I could have every copy in existence melted down so no one could ever torture us with that song again. Yechh.

  Same! I thought it was creepy too. Everything about it.........the song, GS's voice on that one.

As for most annoying, I have to agree with JrnyScarab.....would have to be Mickey.

lol...that's the only song I like by either of those 2.

Yep, someone who can't stand The Beatles, Floyd, or Zep would like that song.

Get out, man. Get out.

Also, on topic... I hate Last Kiss by Pearl Jam.

haha....you might want to check this out though. Cover of a song by Dragon at a benefit concert to support that band's lead singer who had throat cancer (and passed away shortly thereafter). Proves that he COULD sing normally when he wanted to.

Also one Jimmy Barnes on backing vocals when it becomes obvious Peter Garrett has issues with the higher notes in the song. This is why a lot of these types of showed are mimed, as you can tell it wasn't rehearsed for Barnes to help out.

Either way though, you are correct. One of the most distinctive "singers" on the planet.

You must be inhaling paint fumes if you like Abba better than the Beatles, Zeppelin, or Floyd.

Another song that is creepy is "Amie" Maybe it's just the sound of the group but it's like nails on a chalkboard, imo.

I'm not so keen on "Faithfully"

I hate the Titanic theme, too and that dance version Celine did of 'I'm Alive.'
There's also a lot of nasty dance versions of rock songs I hate, one of Boys of Summer [Don Henley], Heaven[Bryan Adams] and Valerie [Steve Winwood] - all by somebody named DJ Sammy, I think. They all seem to have the same backing track and she murders the song over that track. Eurgh.
And every one of them is cringeworthy.
I don't know if they have been inflicted upon you guys, though. Maybe it's just us unlucky Euro's.
here's an idea of what they sound like............
