From "The 40 year old vigin":

"Wanna know how I know you're gay?

You like ColdPlay."
:)

I think CP gets that 'cause they use a lot of piano and atmospheric sounds. I've gotten to like a few of the harder tracks off X&Y. I skip the mellow ones and the new one doesn't do much for me either.

Some of "White Shadows" sounds as if it came from Rush's 80's catalog.

While I agree that "Freebird" is WAY overplayed by classic rock stations, you can't write off Lynyrd Skynyrd as all crap.

For example, "I know a little, " "Saturday Night Special," "You got that Right" and especially "Gimme Back My Bullets." Classics, every one.

Am I the only one who thinks the Macarena sounds like Banarama & Fun Boy Three's "Ain't What You Do"? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOWm87wf6Y0

Which in iteself is another fucking annoying song!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

If yes....+1

Cain's version of "Faithfully" is a fucking abortion! I went to see if I could find it on youtube to actually post it here, so those who haven't heard it could listen (if their ears could take it). Even youtube has enough sense not to have that AWFUL version posted on their site. The one and only time I ever listened to Cain's version, all I could think was "who the fuck told this guy he could sing"

John from Boston

Blimey, I only said it was corny, but yes.......what John said!

I absolutely HATE "Every Rose Has A Thorn" by Poison. I find the lyrics repulsive and the performance below average from this below average band.
It's not a lie, if you believe it..........

Well the first one that jumped to mind is

Shout by Tears for Fears or whatever their lame ass name was.

Have trouble with many Pink Floyd, Doors, REM and Jetro Tull tunes. Not all, but many.

Shout always bugged me.

There's very little Doors I don't like. Here's an interesting clip. Morrison misses a cue at 1:09 and jumps in late to stay on time. Pretty funny actually. Great sax piece at 2:21.

You've got to be a diehard fan of PF, REM or JT to like all their stuff. It's so hit and miss with them.
