Fucking Stu is going to have mortgage his house to buy me drinks for the election wager. 3 dollars per electoral college vote is going to equate to about 270 bucks or more.

Beginning??? Her voice is beyond fucking annoying! I can tell you this...I've always hated politicians (with the exeption of Reagan and Clinton). This woman has moved to the top of my list. I honestly cannot believe that she has one single supporter. She is a complete embarrassment and has no business being considered for the second highest office in the nation.

Here is a small excerpt from the article: Kathleen Parker, writing in the National Review Online, says her "cringe reflex is exhausted" after watching the Alaska governor stumble through TV interviews and it's become clear to her that Palin is out of her league.. Did I mention that I am more excited for the debate Thursday than I am for football tomorrow! This will easily be the most entertaining debate ever on tv! Get those TiVo's set!

First, learn to quote. Second...it just goes to show politics is definitely a subjective thing. McCain was not prepared with facts and specific retorts, Obama was. McCain dropped names and anecdotes in extremely uncomfortable spots in an effort to garner support from certain demographics...an example is his completely out of place and uncalled-for well-wishes for Ted Kennedy. FIRST...all you should have to do to quote is hit the quote button on the corner. That's what I was told to do and that's what I do. For some reason it doesn't turn out like everyone else's. SECOND...the reason Obama sounded the way he did is because he was well rehearsed and made knowledgeable by his advisors and he is an OUTSTANDING speaker. McCain spoke from the heart and from his experiences.

wow, that was some video. seems that the obama/biden ticket are more in tune with the everyday struggles of the american family. to vote on one issue is not enough for me, but if the candidates were the same across the board and differed on choice, it would be the pro choice candidate that would get my vote. i am catholic. i would not have an abortion and i would never make that choice for someone else.

Yeah...I noticed when I posted the video that my buddy Dave said he hadn't seen, that he had no comment. Interesting. I guess after watching that train wreck of an interview that even Palin supporters can't defend that disaster! I'm sure that Puppet Palin is a nice enough woman. That said, she only belongs in The White House if she's taking a school tour with one of her children, as a visitor!

Lula, I agree. I am pro-choice, but personally would never make that decision and would never have to. I had a loving and nuturing family who would have supported me in raising a child at a young age. But that's my choice. I would never impose that on another woman. There are so many issues I vote on. But the one thing that bothers me, I donate time to underprivileged children and children who are neglected. You think you're helping them, but I get so much more out of it. Yet every day on the way to work, there's protestors at a clinic. I mean, they're there all day. It goes on and on month after month. I just want to one day stop and say for every hour you're here do you donate your time to all the unwanted chidren in your community or around the world who are orphaned in some way? I doubt it. I never stop, but that's what I want to ask. Plus it's not for me to ask that anyway.

yeah that video is probably the most powerful i've seen this election. the article you posted judge sarah from the interviews. i like sarah before the interview and like her after the interview. she didnt know the answer to some of the questions but thats not the reason why i like her, i think she is more in tune with the everyday struggles of the american family than anybody running.

that's the thing, jana. the party that wants to make a choice for a woman is the same party that wants to cut the welfare programs. i'm not saying women should abort, obviously responsibility with their sex lives needs to be practiced. for low income women planned parenthood is a great place to get birth control and education. there are so many children in this country going to bed hungry, living in cars, being abused, etc... to cut programs is a sin. to not support the childrens health program is a crime. to not offer thorough sex education to age appropriate students is irresponsible. i could go on, but i'm getting tired.

that's cool csiako. i disagree about palin, but that's what makes us individuals. remember where michelle and barack came from. he certainly had an upbringing more in tune with struggle- a single mom, food stamps, cancer and insurance battles, raised by grandparents and certainly indicative of the melting pot of cultures that gives this country it's character and beauty. michelle is a basic working class girl with strong family ties. her parents never had much and she made it on her own ability. joe biden to me is the epitome of a working class irishman that made it in politics. i'm not saying sarah palin was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, not in the least. i just don't see her as one who is in touch with the daily struggles of the american family. and i don't blame cindy mccain for her fortune, i wish my pop had been a rich man .

However, the actual source is dubious. And there is no way to prove she DIDN'T get food stamps while attending University. She would have been qualified. And his grandparents were hardly "very well off".

All I remember is Obama was sent back to Hawaii at the age of ten from Indonesia where his mother stayed. She wanted him to get a better education. He lived with his grandparents. He received a scholarship so that he could attend a private school.. Michelle Obama did state in a speech that Obama's mother had been on food stamps.

that is not true. reps don't want to take away a womens choice... they want to put restrictions like there should be. way too many abortions are being performed. 1 million each year. do you really think all those are "emergencies".

i'm not a religious anything or pro this or that but i'm not living in denial. bottom line is way too many women are having abortions... something that can be avoided by not getting pregnant in the first place. the numbers speak for themselves... people are using it as back-up birth control... think about it.
