DAMN! I KNEW he'd be there (well, I guessed, sorta). I drove by the stadium thinking " bet Steve Perry shows up here tonight, but then again, he was just in San Francisco for the Giants' games, blah blah blah."Anyway, I didn't have tickets. But just knowing he was in the area kinda gives me the vapors!!

I keep looking for him as I drive by the multiple Starbucks
in Studio City (there are like 8 of them....) and on the freeways, knowing he lives in Del Mar but maybe he's in town, but of course, I never see him.

Next year, I am buying tickets to games between LA and San Diego, LA and Chicago, LA and SF....

Exactly. Those two teams HATE each other. I can stiil remember when the Dodgers beat the Giants on the last day of the regular season to knock them out of a one game playoff possibility and even though the Dodgers' season was over that fat fuck Lasorda ran around like they had just won the World Series. That was a shame because that was pre-wild card baseball and the Giants won over 100 games that season and didn't make the playoffs.

Actually, I predicted an LA sweep. Their pitching is too good for Soriano and Ramirez, two big sticks that get paid huge money to prey on 4 and 5 starters during the regular season. I feel bad for Derosa and Theriot. They're my favorite players on the team. They know what it takes to win. Even though Derosa's error opened the flood gates in game 2.

yeah i do get it. When I was a kid I loved the Giants and hated the Dodgers. I know rabid baseball fans who still feel that way. But I kinda doubt that Steve is a rabid baseball fan. He said he only became a fan of the Giants in 2002. He lives in San Diego. He hangs out in LA and SF. He was adopted by a Chicago team. He was at the Giants game last week. Now he was at the Dodgers and Chicago. He has an emotional affinity for these cities even if these are not his favorite teams of these cities. I just think it isn't so strange, that's all......
