Dropped off the face of the... dude WHAT? She wasn't the famous one. Is she supposed to be out in public wearing a sandwich board that says "I'm Oh Sherrie" or something? It was 25 years ago, I'm sure she moved on a long ass time ago.
I think you are collateral damage in her attacks against any posts that might be construed as critical or ridiculing Perry. I noticed this trend the last few days. Pink ribbons seem to bring out a different or suppressed side of people it seems.
Yeah, she's just being sarcastic because she had Stone In Love written about her.![]()
well not many people know it but "you give love a bad name" was written about me.
not in a gay way mind you and not that there's anything wrong with being gay! not that i am! unless a guy lesbian is gay.
lord allmightly, people word-pick too much and you have to go out and cover all your bases it seems.

that guy in Gunbot's moat thread didn't have his base covered.
He had nothing covered!

those people are fun cause you got 'em on a string and can lead 'em around till you're bored. bored in this case was 2 messages and i left him alone after that.
anyway - my point is people don't seem to take the time to understand what you're saying but assume your meaning based on what they expect/want to hear.
annoying trait.

There is a Thai chic here at works who will start drooling if she accidentally eats something with MSG.

I think the post was written though as if she somehow owed it to the public to keep them updated on her life. She does not. She did not ask to be famous, have a song written about her, or even ask to be in that video. When you say she 'dropped off the face of the earth'...uhm, no she didn't. She just chose to remain a person who didn't seek the spotlight, or give yearly updates on her life.

She's just being sour grapes because someone "who caresed" in her thread. She was fine with my exact same tone last week in the Stern thread and in fact, she championed behind it. Now suddenly its a problem.Whatever.

I can be a little out there... I know, I've been told. So I'll just clarify myself here so we're all on the same page.
You made a remark that gave the jist that people only skim posts and take out what they want to read, misinterpret it, and make a big mess over it. Overreacting and panty wads and such.
Sooo... I took a few key phrases out of your post about that, twisted it into something completely different as an avante garde way of saying "yes, it's silly"... sarcastically making fun of those to whom you think do such things.
And... done.

Yes ma'am, I knew he got it... but uh... felt the need to clarify anyway. For the masses who might not've.
...I'll be quiet now.
