That being said, the panel is not recommending any sanctions or legal investigation, which gives me cause to believe perhaps there's not as much there as the media is trying to make of it. If there were, I'd think the Democrats would be trying to press on with it.
I can't say I would've done any different, knowing the situation with this guy apparently abusing his position as a police officer and self-admittedly tasering his own 10-year old.

With thugs like this, we might have to ship 'em off to a penal colony, like Australia.
Good post. Barone is probably the sharpest political mind out there.

PBS has an online poll posted asking if
Sarah Palin is qualified.
Apparently the right wing knew about this
in advance and are flooding the voting with
YES votes.
The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by mainstream
media. It can influence undecided voters in swing states.
Please - if you want to vote on this, it takes a matter seconds to do!

A PBS poll being credible???
If you're looking for fair and balanced, steer away from moveon.org, cbs, nbc, abc, cnn, nyt, washington post, and PBS.

And don't forget, as Rush likes to say, if it says "non-proft" or "non-partisan", that means it's actually liberal, too!
You guys are beyond fucked up.

Voter registration is only a part of what they do.
Any massive turn out the vote endeavor always comes attached with these problems - try working on a political campaign sometime.
The employees are not paid per signature, so I don't quite get the problem.
Seems like another trumped up liberal boogeyman to me.

Such inconsistencies are bound to happen with any major get out the vote effort.
ACORN was in the sights of the Right Wing prior to this, largely because it's agenda includes workers rights and a living wage.

They apparently also have some of the members of the Dallas Cowboys registered in Nevada even though the players do not live there. I saw an interview this morning with one voter who registered through ACORN and admitted to having registered multiple times and said she was encouraged to do so. This is far more than an inconsistency.

If you're keeping score my favorite phrase is from Mark Levin who says, "Liberalism is the philosophy of the stupid." Got that straight?

This is her schtick....she's beautiful and that can hinder her more than help her if she doesn't have her shit kickers

Oh, did the state also refuse to reimburse said victims for the gas, time away from work, and other expenses it cost to continue with the case?![]()
I'd guess at least Palin expecting citizens cover some of these costs keeps the state of Alaska from having to release prisoners early to murder and rape again like our great Gov. Granholm does here in Michigan. Now go get a job Dean.
