Ehwmatt, well, I believe it is bad parenting to use such terms from either side to children. If you want to discuss that, then discuss the Supreme Court decision that was handed down in 1973 and that it would still be in place if Obama was elected, and explain why you want it overturned and your beliefs on pro-life. But come on. Making inflammatory statements like Obama is a baby killer to young girls, I'm glad you think that's not bad judgment. Their beliefs should have been stated in a more responsible way. It goes both ways. The ignorant hate-filled comments you mentioned if said by Democrats to their children is absolutely wrong. I do call it bad parenting. It doesn't mean they don't love their children or aren't good parent in other ways.

I don't think we disagree at all then. Abortion shouldn't even be a political issue anymore. Roe is never going to be overturned. Blackmun found abortion personally abhorrent and wrote the damn opinion in that case, and even judges like O'Connor were loathe to think about overturning it in kind.

If you want to make it a personal issue, then that's fine in my book, but it should be out of the political arena at this point.

Tito, Eagleburger doesn't have an agenda. As the article stated, he's touted all the time by McCain and Palin as a supporter. He was being honest. He didn't drag her under the bus. He didn't say she couldn't do it. He just assessed honestly Palin, the good and the bad, unfortunately for McCain. Read the article.

Way the fuck out of line to question someone's parenting abilities because they don't agree with your political convictions. I went out of my way a week ago to tell Dave I thought (from what I could tell and what I knew about him) that he was an OUTSTANDING parent. I'm sure John is the same, and I still think you are, too, Stu, but that was bullshit.

You can go fuck yourself too! When a cocksucking pig like Stu comes on to a public board and draws a correlation between me parenting my son and the KKK and Black Panthers (organizations that I couldn't loathe more), I will defend myself, regardless of what any of his cronies say! He's an asshole who tells anyone who will listen just how smart he is!

To justify it by saying "You don't know Palin or McCain" is just plain fucking moronic! I'm quite sure that not one single person in this thread knows a damn thing about either of these candidates, aside from what's been portrayed in the media! It's politics...people have opinions. This is the same dope who has offered several opinions on Obama in this very thread, and I'm quite sure that he's not having afternoon coffee with Obama! I think Palin is a moron, and there is nothing "hateful" about it. It's not my problem she can't string two cogent sentences together!

If Stu or anyone else here wants to take my beliefs and/or politics on, have at it. Leave my family and my parenting out of it, because that is simply crossing the line! Attacking a politician isn't crossing the line. These people are putting themselves out there to be judged and I have a right to judge them, just like everyone else does. If I was hanging Palin in effigy from a tree on my property, then someone could rightfully call me hateful. Calling me hateful because I've offered criticism of her qualifications is nothing more than partisan politics, in action!

Oh, yes they are, and probably more so. This is so tied in with government grants and power that it isn't even funny. Do you realize how much scientists have to lose if they don't tow the man-mader party line? At least most of the people and scientists who don't think man is the cause leave some room open to doubt. Those on the man-maders are so closed-minded on this issue, it's pitiful. You get demonized if you don't tow the line, ala what Gore and Robert Kennedy do on a regular basis, i.e. using the "flat earth" and "traitor" labels. What a bunch of hooligans.

Fact Finder, I hate beer. But Butterfingers, right on. You are a true connoisseur of candy.

On another note. Locally, people kept taking down this couple's McCain/Palin signs. So he hooked up a video camera and fed electronic current to his signs and shocked the next person stealing his signs. He should move to my neighborhood. All there is is McCain/Palin signs.

No I offer opinions about his POLICIES which I don't like, I have never nor will ever attack the man on a personal level. He is an inspiration and a good man. I would happily sit down with Obama and have coffee.

You have continually trashed McCain as a person, and he is probably one of the true heros we have left. Sarah Palin is a successful woman, no matter how you want to run her down and no you don't attack her qualifications you attack her on a personal level. If I or anyone here who doesn't like Obama's policies would have ever attacked him or Biden the way you attacked McCain and Palin, we would have been called scum or worse. Hell probably we would be called racists.

I may be a cocksuking pig know it all, but you are small, spiteful, childish man who's only recourse is to attack people with bitter and hateful language. Politicians or not.

You don't like the KKK/Blackpanther analogy, tough, they preach hate, and so do you. I am not here on MR to be liked by anyone. I am here to have disucssions, if you don't like what I say I could care less.

I am sure you are good father John, but stop and think about what you saying, your views and rhetoric does influence your children. Hate begets hate.

Known facts? I guess that depends on which set of "facts" you happen to ascribe to, apparently. You are always about "known facts", "100% fact", and "You're 100% wrong!!!". These kinds of invectives are what I talked about in my blog entry I posted earlier, trying to make those who disagree with you appear to be some kind of neanderthal, moron, etc.

You once again prove that you're not half as fucking smart as you claim to be. I have not "trashed" McCain one single time in these 200+ pages. In fact, I'm quite sure that I'm on record as saying I would have voted for McCain, had Romney been his running mate. In these 200+ pages, the only thing I've said about McCain that could be construed as remotely negative is that he's old, and last I checked...HE IS! I also put a youtube video up the other night showing McCain on the stump, completely butchering his speech. Nothing about that "trashes" McCain. It was him on the video speaking, not me!

RossValoryRocks wrote:Sarah Palin is a successful woman

So is my sister, and I don't want her running the country!

RossValoryRocks wrote: you don't attack her qualifications you attack her on a personal level.

If calling Palin a moron is "attacking" her, then I'm guilty as charged. I stand by what I say. I wouldn't vote for the lady to head up the local PTA, period, end of story!

RossValoryRocks wrote:If I or anyone here who doesn't like Obama's policies would have ever attacked him or Biden the way you attacked McCain and Palin, we would have been called scum or worse. Hell probably we would be called racists.

Not by me, you wouldn't be. Obama and Biden have been attacked plenty in this thread, and I could care less. I'm not voting for Obama or McCain, so I really don't have a dog in this fight! I don't usually ever defend politicians, because I believe that almost every one of them are corrupt as hell!

RossValoryRocks wrote:You don't like the KKK/Blackpanther analogy, tough, they preach hate, and so do you.

You're an idiot! Calling Palin a moron and "preaching hate" are not close to the same thing. I can assure you that one thing that you'll never catch me doing in life is "preaching" about anything! You think Palin is a Rhodes Scholar, and I think she's a dope. We'll agree to disagree and leave it at that!

RossValoryRocks wrote:I am not here on MR to be liked by anyone.

Well, then we finally agree on something. I've never cared who likes me and who doesn't. I've never met a single person from an internet board in my life and don't plan on it, anytime soon. I can tell you that in my years on Jackass Talk, I was usually only one of 3 dissenting voices, so obviously didn't give a shit who liked me and who didn't. I'm not here to shake hands and kiss babies. I'll leave that task to the Stus of the world, who have political aspirations!

RossValoryRocks wrote:I am here to have disucssions, if you don't like what I say I could care less.

You're missing the point! We obviously don't like each other, and I'm every bit okay with that as you are. I also don't give a rat's ass if my opinions don't put a smile on your face. When you suggest that I would raise my son to believe and preach hate, it's WAY over the line...especially considering that it couldn't be more false! I am obviously not the wallflower of this board, but the one thing I promise you is this....there isn't a single person on this (or any other board I've visited) board who I have been rude to who hasn't taken the first shot at me!

RossValoryRocks wrote: your views and rhetoric does influence your children. Hate begets hate.

Once again, you are completely out of fucking line telling me that I'm preaching hate! Just because I have a vulgar mouth (and make zero apologies for that) doesn't mean I preach hate! Also, I don't need your advice on the ins and outs of parenthood, and how the things I do impact my child. I know this may shock you, but I'm actually college educated and my wife is a teacher. We're both quite cognizant of the things that impact our child. I've been a football and hockey coach for many years, and seem to have no problem "influencing" children! Why you choose to bring my views impacting my child's view of the world into a political discussion is beyond me. I can assure you that we're not sitting around the dinner table, discussing the political events of the day with our two year old son!

come on, Tito. Did you forget your horrible comment to BJG regarding the savage murder of Matthew Shepard and the attack of someone else. I can't remember the specifics. Quite a few people reacted angrily to you on the thead for saying someone deserved to be murdered for their sexual preference or raped, until you halfway apologized for part of the comment. I wanted to slap you silly myself.
