For DOND celebrity edition, there are variety of charity instututions they would choose to donate their winnings. In his case, must have chosen his own foundation.

Can you edit your original post and include that part? it doesn't mention anything about celebrity edition. The original post makes it sound like he just went on a regular game show like any other common person.

After his gig in the states and the numerous TV appearances in the Philippines, that still has to be spelled out?

Come on Dean..I know that your not just targeting that country and that you are critical of everyplace and everybody and are not in the least bit politically correct, but in this case it would probably be best to lay off on the derogatory remarks about the country, people and culture because it will only cause more hurt and derision among Journey fans and there has been far too much of that already. The pinoys are understandably proud of their heritage and their culture as all people are and should be. I get your humor but many may not and it will only start another war amongst fans. Attack the south or any other state or individuals here...hey,..even attack me if you want...I'll just give it back to you tenfold! :P   8)

Better watch out what your saying man,Philippines is not a shithole country w/ a shit money, i think i just heard a racism on your remarks, no matter what you think about that country, AP's winning prized be it small or big amount will help those street children in his country. :( :( :(

Let's please not do this... there were a lot of people hurt by things that were said on MR when Arnel was hired. It's taken a lot of time to turn that around.

Since you've quoted wildcat75, are you saying the he and the Pinoys who read Rockindeano's comment just bite their lips and not answer back? That racism incident a while back went a tad longer than necessary because there were very few who stood up against the cavemen who used to post here. That is not gonna happen again.

How are we supposed to know that? We don't actually have too much of that stuff going on here. Celebrities usually just give from there own pockets or have fundraisers here, not from game shows. I don't think it's to much to ask that when a person starts a thread, they provide a little more clarity on what they are saying.

Seriously? Almost every game show here in the states has a celebrity version. Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, etc. Even the local Deal or No Deal.

It is very common in the US..I think just about every game show has had celebrity editions and the winnings always go to charity. 8)

CONGRATULATIONS FOR ARNEL!!..what a year for him..i wonder if he went past year to a fortune teller...if she say all this will happen to him...maybe even he believe it..anyway...felicitaciones Mister Pineda!!!

..oh and btw the Phillipines is a beautiful country and most of the pinoys are sweet people and enjoy life (that's why they look so young i guess)..so i don't agree with the racist comment here, specially when it comes from people that for sure don't know what are they talking about.

Besos..ciao!

Ok. I feel stupid. I was unaware that the Phillipines used the Peso. I for some reason was thinking, Mexico.Everyone here knows my disdain for that toilet. I actually like the Phillipines, and am a AP fan. I hope this provides me some escape from the wrath of Blueskies and everyone else. Swear to God, I meant Mexico

There was no need to lecture Rip for quoting her. He wasn't trying to censure her for speaking up. And you don't need to patronize me because of your own inferiority complex.

For the record, I was NEVER a part of that "racism" period. I hated that shit, and was never a proponent of it. I totally messed up here, but God damn, I explained myself. I am sorry for the stupid response and the fact I didn't know the currency of the Phillipines.

Oops  . Right. Comparing spending 20,000 over there to spending it in the U.S., it probably would seem more like 70,000 with what it could buy. Am I making any sense or am I still f'ing up what I'm trying to say? Oh, forget it. If I am, I give up.

I'll go with your-to-the point statement  . It will go a lot further over there, period, end of statement.

That racism incident a while back went a tad longer than necessary because there were very few who stood up against the cavemen who used to post here. That is not gonna happen again.

For the record, I was NEVER a part of that "racism" period. I hated that shit, and was never a proponent of it. I totally messed up here, but God damn, I explained myself. I am sorry for the stupid response and the fact I didn't know the currency of the Phillipines.

I know dude and I understand that what you said earlier was just a mistake on your part. All is cool dude.

and it's Philippines (with a single L and double P). Learn to spell next time

Goddammit, double shot of embarrassment today. I am spelling as bad as Gator but not as bad as stevew2. Hell, Andrew is a shitty speller himself. Awful as a matter of fact :P
 but you type great! I can't type for Schutt!

Hell, Dean, at least you get your math right, unlike some people on here  .

I will say this. For the record, Deano and St. John were very big supporters of Arnel (I'm not saying Journey) when the news broke, and went to war on his behalf on numerous occasions.

Now I'm really done.

I know this as I have been a long time lurker of this board. I swear if SJ doesn't stop hanging out with the Pinoys from Arnel's site, he will soon be 2 feet shorter, will have a flatter nose, and would wait for the balut vendor at night
