And also, Elvis and Sasquatch just walked into my place of business and asked to use the restrooms.

Ok, Russ Miller, what's the deal and why is Steve Perry allowing you to run your mouf?

I'm suspicious.

Someone needs to email him and ask him to 'splain himself . . . :D

I mentioned on here a few months back that I saw I believe it was in his Ultimate Guitar interview, August, Rob Dickinson mentioned he had written songs with Steve Perry. But I think he said, who knows if they will see the light of day. I just saw this on-line in some article mentioned about Dickinson:

"The DJ BT just featured his vocals on an upcoming single, “The Unbreakable,” Canadian outfit Neverending White Lights currently has a radio hit with a Dickinson duet “Where We Are” and he’s been writing songs for the long-awaited comeback of Journey’s Steve Perry."

Oops. This was back in July. I thought it was newer. Of course, Steve seems to like to write with people. Does that mean it will ever result in a new CD?

Actually, now that I think about it, that's kind of a lame post for you Deano. Are you sober, or did you just finish wacking off to the news? :D :D :D

Hmmm... I just went to his site and the actual statement reads:

"Russ is currently working on several new albums and sessions.
These include sessions for Steve Perry, KAP Music Libraries, Benjamin Kahle (T.V. and Jingles)
and Film Composer Jasper Randall."

has the site been changed or are some people jumping to conclusions

Anyhoo, I emailed the site and posed the question.

It could be true......

Postby SP Fan in Oregon » Thu Jan 08, 2009 11:09 am

I met Steve Perry on New Year's Eve 2007. He was on stage at a big party
at St. Regis at Monarch Bay singing with an 80's band. There were only about 500
people in the room. Only a handful of people, including me, knew it was him.
He sang lead ALL NIGHT and his voice was as fantastic as ever. I had the good
fortune to come up on stage and meet him and talk with him a while on a break.
He was very sweet, kind, gracious, gentle and I just fell in love right then and there.
I hope he doesn't mind me saying this because I know he is a very private person.
Perhaps he was preparing himself for touring, at his own pace, for his new album.
I will forever feel blessed for the opportunity I had just one year ago.

Seems like it's true. I wonder when the news is officially released if Neal will act like a certain someone else and spout shit like a 4 year old about cracking stones, entering the Earth's atmosphere without heat tiles, and songs being his children. My guess is that he'll be too busy doing what he's done and loved for the past 40 years...working!!!

No offense. I just found your Myspace page with the supposed photo of Steve Perry on it from that New Year's Eve bash. It doesn't even look like him at all. Why don't you post that photo on here and let the board decide.

To explain:

Steve Perry fans were called "loons", "PerryLoons" to be exact.
Then, I believe that someone took his initials and put it in the nickname....hence, "SPoons".

Does that mean I win something good? lol
