I will judge him. I think he is a piece of shit Hey Splash, how's your mom? Tell her to wash my underwear that I forgot while I was over at her house this morning. Also tell her thanks for the quickie at lunchtime.

Aside from the cracked-out Spoons, we're all pretty neutral to this story either way... yes, we hope it's true, but we're not going to shit the bed if we're let down again. So your "WE'LL SEE" shtick kind of neuters itself. And I'm not the type to go off on anyone, but this is overkill ad nauseum et infinitum.

Brilliant god damned post. And 100% correct.

What do you expect? We get at least a 5 page thread every time a Journey song plays anywhere on Earth. Of course the "Perry is lurking in studios!" threads are going to haywire. I do agree with you though. The first time I heard he might be working on something I probably peed a little. I've since learned to control the flow and I'll save it in case there's ever a full on four alarm album release emergency. *yawn* Wake me up when Perry himself has something to say about this. Hell, SP can play drums himself well enough to do that.

It just takes some people to get hit over the head with a club before they get it. Don't worry, a club with your name on it is coming. I don't know the exact title of the club yet, but you'll know it when it smacks you in your Dorito Chute.

I've figured it out . You are Russ Miller. You planted the story for publicity. :P

By the way, you stated ABSOLUTELY Steve Perry was releasing new music in the YEAR 2009. What happens if it isn't 2009? Then you're still wrong.

Who knows? My brain is toast thinking about all of it. I'd be stunned if he releases something in 2009, but I sure am hoping he does. Is there anybody that's not? :)

Uh, I can think of only two: Neal and Jon.

Although Neal and Jon just might be sniggering and high fiving at the moment. Regardless of how you feel about some of the BS they've pulled in the past two years, one has to admit, its clear they have had a damn good 2008. Whether there's any truth beneath it or not they just might be patting themselves on the back for having forced Perry's hand in releasing new material and even forcing Perry's hand in encouraging people to let it leak.

From a fan's perspective I could care less about events any more, when the end results seem to producing what I want - good music to listen to. In the last year Ive seen JSS put out a great sounding album, Augeri's back sounding good with a new TS release, Journeys Reveleation has been more than enjoyable, and if we get something from Perry, more icing on the cake. Not a bad result

When you put it that, you're absolutely right. I have not heard Augeri's release, but I have the others and both are great. So it would be iciing on the cake, and I love icing.

I'll ask to please, say anything you want about me, it doesn't bother me at all, but please don't speak about my mother that way.

I'm sorry for challenging with a physical nature, but if something like that was said to me persoanlly, there would be a broken jaw, at minimum, and I'm not a violent person, even though I have a black belt in karate. I rarely ever want to become physical unless attacked. It's just a sensitive subject for me.

It is amusing that I was warned that I could be banned for posting inside info that I had and a personal attack on my deceased mother will go unquestioned. Hmmm?

So please, shots are fine, beacuase I know I'm right and am confident in what I post and I just laugh them off. Just fire any shots at me and not anyone in my family. OK?

Well obviously I agree with you there, when you hear insults thrown by anyone, it generally means "they have lost their cool" unless they are cool, but even then, the argument is lost. Karate is good, what form - and do you still train, it's a tough style, how's it going for you these days.

My point is, ok, enough we get it... I have nothing to "get over" myself about. You, however, have this repetitive harping that could stand to be "gotten over". I don't know who you're trying to impress, but it's just annoying to the rest of us.

Rhiannon is my hero. Couldn't have said it better myself. And I won't even try.

On another note...SJ predicted a 16 page thread by morning. Only on page 13. Better get busy people. I would have thought someone would have already come out with the album name by now.

Seems like things are getting tense...here: 8)

I like Steve’s VOICE
And I cannot lie;
You other Singers can’t DENY

When he walks onstage
And opens his mouth,
That beautiful Voice comes out ~

YOU ARE STUNNED!

No need to bluff;
Steve ALWAYS has “The Right Stuff”!

See my eyes a-glistenin’?
I’m hooked & I can’t stop listenin’.

OH STE-VIE!
I wanna get wit’cha
To take our pik-shah!

People try to warn me
“His Voice is gone”
But ~ “WE’LL SEE!”

So, LADIES! (YEAH!)
LADIES! (YEAH!)
Does his voice make you go CRAZY?(HELL YEAH!)

Tell him to USE IT (USE IT!)
USE IT (USE IT!)
No “if”s, “and”s, or “but”s:

MAKE A COMEBACK!

I have a 2nd degree black belt in Korean Taekwondo. I don't train nearly as much as I used to or would like to. Just enough to stay loose and responsive. I

I'm about the least violent person that you could find, but we all have or sensitivities and limits.

If you would lose it and get physical with someone over something as minor as whether or not they believe you that Perry recorded something, that's not exactly "least violent person" material. That is nothing to get violent over, that's something where you just go "ok whatever... believe what you want". And again, its NOT what you say its the way you persist in shoving this whole thing all over everyone. This has been said to you many times and you still don't get it.
