I was in my late 20's when I joined JF Fan Club and was a proud card carrying dues paying member till the very end, and I have all my fan member cards still to prove it, not to mention every single - in cronalogical(sp) order - Journey Force NewLetters. All stored in seperate acid-free protectors in a binder and lovinly placed in a special trunk just for my Journey things. I look at these things from time to time...read the new letters and have a grand time with the memories of what was and then rejoice in the now for the legacy that lives on.....

and i am 58..........

Loon, you betcha and damn proud of it!!!!!!

PS....Thanks for the story Lora it was a nice tid-bit of info. And Yes, I got out my newletters and read a bunch of them and played Infinity and Captured while I was reading. You and Cyndy are lucky....lucky ladies.

Greetings and yep, your name rings a bell. I have several letters signed by Lora and Cyndy and Cory and a few others, I'll have to look and see. I was also a TASKFORCE member and I still have all the goodies I earned from completing my assigned tasks too. And to think my hubby has been a very patient Loon accepting man for 39 years....guess I'll keep him another 39 or so...LOL

Nah, if you want a 10 pager, you gotta have a new pic...unless there is a story of Perry actually punching a kitten...there isn't one, is there, Lora?

When I saw him he used to lean way over so the girls could almost grab his butt..............but not! LOL! And those ladies were trying mightily! LOL! Perry would get so tickled he couldn't almost keep the stick going..............Maybe someone can add their concert memories? This was one of my favorites............ He kept saying SQUEEEZE ME! SQUEEEZE ME! I just laughed and thought if they got hold of you you would be yellin HELP ME! HELP ME!!!!!!!!! LOL!

What do I think? I think it was a harbinger of things to come. Perry's been taunting and teasing the Loons, er his fans, for years. Always just out of reach...

That is fine with me.........LOL! I would not want him that way anyway! LOL! He is just a silly guy..........he always used to make me laugh. I am one of those weird loons who do NOT want to end up with him.....does that make sense? I love what the man does, he has a fun persona, but he and I are very different people. My husband is the best person in the world for me, so even if I think Steve is a hansome man, and talented, I don't want hm to be with me in that manner.......... I think I would love to talk to him some day, and meet him. But kind of like when I met Jon and others, it was nice meeting them but I went home to my home and did not follow...........see what I am saying? I admire their abililties.

Are you refering to the ghost album? The one we are going to hear from this year according to some?

Looked like a Very Perry Christmas in those pictures.........
Sad to read about Jon's divorce.

Thanks for posting more. I'm really enjoying reading them. I can't believe all of this passed me by in those years.
Kinda makes me wonder what I'm missing right now... :?

There is an inner page somewhere, some of my stuff got shuffled up in the box after all these years............I will add that and more later. It takes a while to download this stuff. I remember I loved every one when they arrived. I feel for those who missed out all those years. Besides, putting them into my computer will help me keep them longer. They are showing age, and will be harder to read the more time goes on. :D

Hi, Indi ... lol ... the first time I saw how he signs his name, I fell in love with him (strictly platonic speaking, of course). Knew he had a wicked sense of humor  . That is how I see it, anyway... if that's not supposed to be his face, excuse the conclusion.

Hey Annie, is that a proud mamma moment going on in your avatar?

Hi Ari ... yes, that's my Casey, the baby of the family. He was holding his President's Award for Educational Excellence certificate giving to all graduating 8th graders that made honor roll all year and scored 450 or above in math/reading on the CRT (national standardized testing). Only about 10% of students make it.

Annie I can see why you are so proud! He looks like such a sweet young man! :D

I am adding this picture, I don't know if anyone cares or is interested. It is a pattern I designed for part of the back of the Journey Friendship quilt. I altered some of the words to WCTNGOF to fit from us to the band. It was embroidered in gold with colors by the first letter. It was all hand embroidered. I thought it would be fitting to tell the band this. Little did I know the day the quilt would go on the newsletter, was the demise of the band and the force. Bittersweet for me........

I was thinking that was what you were coming from. Just wanted to be sure. I don't know. I don't think he has made any promises now has he? Seems alot of wishful thinking on some peoples part. Your design of the quilt you posted, is VERY special. Very very very very nice. Wow. I can see how much of yourself went into every detail.
A true artist. I remember that you posted something about the quilt before. Wasn't there a quesetion on Fan Asylum about a quilt being one of the gifts
that Steve received and still has, and you said that the quilt he has is not the one you made. Can you refresh my recollection of that? Do you know
for sure the one Steve says he has is NOT yours?

Last I heard...........HH had the force quilt. Others have made him personal quilts. So my thoughts are that he was speaking of another quilt. I know Jon has one I made for him. As a matter of fact two quilts. One for Madison his firstborn. And another one for fathers day that has ties from fans made into fans . I have one I made for Steve with tuxes on it. One red one stand out. I have never sent it to him, I have no where to send things to him anymore. Not since the force folded. I hold on to it to send one day. I made the Fathers day quilt one, years ago. The gal from his official site and I were old friends. She sent it for me last year. I hear the family loves it. :D Maybe some day I can get the tux quilt to its owner as well. I will just care for it till then. It has names of people who wanted to say they love his music on it.
