Every day is a sunshiny day for me. Some bitch about not winning the lottery, some bitch about not being first. Me....well I'm always just happy to be alive. Got a great wife and a sweet daughter.....that's all that matters to me.

Ha. Good for you, Deb. Me, too. Roland finally got off his pile of money throne in England and decided to tour this year, and in America, on the east coast no less. And Curt wanted to tour, too, which he usually doesn't except on the west coast a little b/c he has kids.

Two concerts I get to see, one in Atlanta, one in Clearwater. I get to hear all the hits and about six or seven new songs from the new album, especially Closest Thing to Heaven, Secret World, Quiet Ones. And also Raoul & the Kings of Spain, Break it Down Again. And I adore the old hits, esp Sowing the Seeds of Love, Woman in Chains (sigh), Shout and Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Head over Heels, Pale Shelter, Mad World. I'm in heaven. And Roland is looking very buff. Well, he's always buff. But still double bonus for me. Plus, he still has his thick, long dark curly hair, with his guitar. (Neal Who?) Now, that's my sunshine.

Secret World live this year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR84nnphA2w

Everybody Wants to Rule The World
Secret World
Closest Thing To Heaven
Sowing The Seeds of Love
Call Me Mellow
Mad World (Original Version)
Memories Fade
Raoul and the Kings of Spain
Quiet Ones
Floating Down The River
Everybody Loves A Happy Ending
Seven of Sundays - Curt's own solo album song. I guess he can sing that, since Roland sings songs from the period Curt wasn't in the band.
Pale Shelter
Break It Down Again
Head Over Heels
Woman in Chains
Shout

It's not on here, but Roland does a cover of MJ's Billie Jean.

Positive;

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...............

GI Jim, Nora, SusieP, all have a great talent in music that I envy very much. Thank you for sharing your music, and for not ripping me to shreds the few times I attempted to get some input on my own singing.

Ari is good natured and kind, I would like very much to meet her someday.

Deano...........can get me laughing at myself, and a pretty great guy once you get past that gruff exterior.

Lora and Cyndy! What can I say? They both treated me nicely when they wre in charge of the JF. Lora would always help us with projects, and made being a member there the most fun, and they made the memories so wonderful. The JF newsletters were top notch. Besides all that, they are both smart, funny, and very nice.

Andrew, thanks for all you do. Thank you for this site, wich I find I spend too much time on sometimes. Thank you for making this the #1 site I love to be a part of. And your a cuddly little wombat for sure!

Rick............just an all around great guy. Thanks for teaching me the ropes, and for taking care of crap for me on FB.

Nora..........lover of Bugs Bunny and all that is warner bro.

Jana.........great defender of Neal....... :D

SteveW2 dispite your love affair for Jon..........remember, Liz loves him and you can't have him! LOL! Your always making me laugh, take care of Carl for me!

The Noble Cause.............Lover of Democrats everywhere, defending the left even though left is never right! LOL! Just kidding ............

Oh Sherrie...........for loving to debate.
Chebel........just for being my friend, you lurker you!
BabyBlue....for putting up with serious crap around here, and never letting it make you waver.

BluejeanGirl..........wonderful one liners, great person inside.

MG............just an all around sweet person.

Everett.................giving us someone to call Eve.........even though you have an Adam's apple.

Crap I know I am forgetting so many terrific folks here..............add some guys!

I started working on two new songs this week... They aren't very far along at all. One song is done up until the first chorus, but that's it. I have the lyrics done that far also. The other one is a pretty cool intro for a song, but that's all it is at this point. It's pretty intricate. It's a very dark song, and if I had to compare it something, I'd compare it to "Miles Away".

Ok, some sunshine... let's think...

I'm 2/3 of the way through my exams, and so far have aced them (I think). What's left is the stuff I know best. Once these exams are over, I'm past the half way mark on my degree.

I have great friends that I love and who love me, all over the world. Every day I get to communicate, one way or another, with someone who can make me smile and I get to make them smile back.

I own my home, I have no debts, I only have to walk to the kitchen to get food, I have enough good quality clothes to keep me covered and warm for maybe 5-10 years, and my income is still just bigger than my essential expenditure. Those five things alone make me incredibly wealthy compared to the majority of people living in the world right now.

I live in a country where my gender does not stop me from getting an education, having a job, owning property, walking the street, getting justice in court, travelling alone, getting proper medical aid, having rights to my own body or expressing my opinion. I am luckier than 4/5 of the women in the world.

I live in a country where I have medical care that I can afford and that I can trust. The odds of me dying from malaria, measles, polio, dysentry, cholera or plague are so minute as to be almost zero. The odds of me dying of pneumonia, influenza or sceptecemia are very small, and if it happened, would more than likely be because I'm also ill with something else, or because I chose not to get treated. If I die of malnutrition, it's because I chose not to eat.

I live on a low income, theoretically below the bread line for my country, but I have luxury items in every room of my house; television, dvd player, movies, cds, 2 computers, a microwave, a fridge and a freezer, a sewing machine, an electric blanket, books, games, carpets, electric fans and heaters, radios, lounge chairs, silverware, a blender, cameras, telephone - every one of them things my grandparents did without when they were growing up in the Depression.

By my nation's standards, I'm fairly poor. By the world's standards, I'm fairly wealthy. By my own standards - I guess have all I need, even if I do feel broke most of the time. Better yet, I have more than just material things - I have great friends. Some of them here on MR.

Yeah, I'm rich. :D

I like funny ...
I don't care if you are not always politically correct, it don't matter none to me!!
If I'm laughing all is well w/the world ...just because I don't type it as much anymore, does
NOT mean I'm not L'ingMAO ...to myself!! :D

Oh, and one more thing ...I laugh at stuff that pisses a lot of you off ...I'm just
scared to type it ... Just know, if you're mad, I might be laughing!!  :D
