My predictions

58 seats go to the GOP in the House

Tancredo wins the Colorado Govs race

Dems hold Washington and California in the Senate but loose Conneticut and West Virgina in suprises. It all looks to be 50 50 but Dr Bombay wins as a write in candidate in Maryland. Nation goes in to heated debate about why boy witches can win and girl witches cant.
Controversy for weeks .

Alaska a hung election betwee miller and murkowski. Palin stock drops. Bachman new girl hero of the right. Middle aged Republican men confused as they have to cope with thinking about a new girl whilst spaking the monkey in the shower. bookings with therapists rise.

Boxer thinks shes it for holidng the only Senate Seat. Lauches Messianic bid for dem presidential nomination in 2012. Simon and Garfunkel try to revive their careers by re launching a dance mix version of the BOXER using it to double as Barbara's theme song. Boxer claims everyone should have it as a cell phone ring tone as shes "Worked so hard to have that song written for her"

Nope. I will take my ass kicking like a man. The Dems deserve to lose the seats they are losing. I am pissed at my own party for not having a fucking backbone. Instead of going down with something to believe in, they go down anyways running from their own president and party. Fuck them.

The democrats are going to get crushed because the working people have finally revolted (aka racism:roll:). They're tired of endless social programs, infinite unemployment checks and people not being able to fend for themselves. It's time to make these fuckers sink or swim. Keep social programs for the handicapped and retards only, and limit unemployment to 6 months ... no exceptions.

End food stamps and section 8 immediately, and stop free education. Parents need to pay a small fee for their kids to go to school. Unfortunately, it's probably the only way to make them have a vested interest in their child's education. The current model is a colossal failure and the teacher's union needs to be destroyed, too. Unions destroyed the steel industry, the auto industry, the airline industry and they've devastated the education system. Compared to other developed nations, the U.S. has the worst educational quality per dollar spent, and ranks 18th in reading and 28th in math. These unions fight tooth and nail against any meaningful change to their comfortable status quo, while students and taxpayers pay the price. Fuck 'em and bust them up.

The "generic ballot" still shows Democrats with more support, 46% to 42%, over Republicans, as per Gallup. The racism that is driving the Tea Partiers and Republicans out today is the only reason the House will be changing hands. People still don't trust the GOP, and as frustrated as they are with the Democrats, they trust Republicans even less.

This just isn't true. Race is probably the last thing on peoples' minds today. It's about paying to float people that don't participate in capitalism and are an anchor around the country's neck. For what you're saying to be true, you would have seen an exponentially more energized right when their was a black candidate for the presidency. But you didn't, because what you're insinuating simply isn't true. You're just trying to put a positive on the ass-kicking that the left is probably going to take tonight, and charging the other side of "racism" is neither intelligent nor is it true.

Fair enough. This is at least arguable, and perhaps you're right. I just wanted the race thing cleared up, as I don't believe it's true, nor do I feel there is any real evidence to support that notion. Personally, as I've said a thousand times before, I'm not gonna celebrate wildly tonight, just as I didn't fall into deep depression when Curious George was elected 2 years ago.

7 wishes serious with that comment? If so, I can't believe he is still trying to smear the many good, hard working Americans that are fed up. They were fed up during Bush's term and many were voicing it at that time, albeit not in an organized fashion. They didn't like what he was doing and hated what congress was doing. Pelosi is more to blame for the Tea Party movement than Obama. D's control of both houses and the executive office is another major contributor. I agree that is scary shit. It would be if (when) the pendulum swings as well.

The things Obama has done and the way he carries himself may be an issue, but what does the color of his skin have to do with it. Hell, he was born of a white lady from Kansas!

There may be some racists in the tea party crowd, but no more than anywhere else. To continue to accuse them of this is irresponsible and reprehensible. My mother is a Tea Partier and trust me, she and her friends ain't no racists. If she is, she shows in in a strange way. She was once a choir director in a black church and before that made me go to bible school a couple of summers at a black church, leading the cause of having our church and theirs combine summer programs?

These blanket statements continue to make 7 Wishes sound foolish. Just like the worn out come back of anyone with a conservative viewpoint only quoting the Limbaughs and Hannities of the world. Enough already. Original or personal philosophies and thoughts are reserved for libs I guess.

If I hadn't learned that all lib thoughts are original on this site, I would swear this smear campaign directed towards the Tea Partiers is one that started at the top of the liberal chain and all of their followers eat it up and spew it out very well. The fact this campaign to discredit the group has failed has got them all (Ds and Rs) wondering what to do. It will be interesting.

Having said all this, I'm not celebrating a big Repulican win. They will muck it up again anyhow. We just need a new internet phenomena to bolster the economy like the one Clinton was blessed with. No one seems to bring that up.

The 7 seats that have to be taken are Washington, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, Colorado, West Virginia and Wisconsin. That's basically the only way to gain the Senate majority, unless there's a shocking upset somewhere else. And Indiana ain't it! :lol:
