Sorry dude but Pittsburgh's kicker is the least of their problems in this game. At least he didn't miss an extra point like Shayne Graham did! Even though I picked Pittsburgh to win this game, I'm certainly not shocked the Patriots won but am STUNNED that they've slapped the Steelers around like this. I'm as embarrassed for the Steelers this week as I was for the Patriots against Cleveland last week. I'm glad Ben coughed it up, because if the Steelers had scored again, many people who didn't watch this game would have believed it was a whole lot closer than it's been at any point. Now, I can only hope that another team knocks off Shitsburgh in the playoffs (which is very possible), because I never feel good about facing the same team twice in a season. Bring on the Indianapolis Mannings!

I was just saying that was the kind of night it's been. Even though we got manhandled and for good reason, I still love the fight in this team til the bitter end. No way, no how will we look as bad as we looked tonight the rest of the season. Like I said last week, the Pats came in here at the perfect time with the injuries to the O-line that Bellichick could exploit and that's exactly what happened. I've been talking N.E up all week so I'm not shocked they took advantage of our weak spots quick and often. Now I'm eager to see how we return next week against Oakland and try to get back to atleast a glimpse of a healthy status.

Can't hang this all on Ben. Ben is a good QB. He and Polamalu are the only guys on that team I have any respect for. They're a thug team (see the cheap shot on Brady by number 56?) who can't lose enough for my taste. It sounds odd to say this about the Steelers but their defense SUCKED. I mean...they essentially gave up 40 points to a Patriots offense who really isn't all that good. Sure, they have Brady, but their receivers aren't going to remind anyone of Jerry Rice and John Taylor and Benjarvus Green-Ellis isn't exactly Barry Sanders

Haha, please already. Didn't you see Brady thug it out and cheap shot the Steelers secondary all night? Brady barely got his jersey dirty, I'd take a shot at the mother fucker any chance I'd get as well. The chips didn't land too well in the Steelers favor tonight so I'm not sweatin it. There's usually such a loss each year that thumps us like this, and I'm not surprised if came to the hands of the Patriots. Steelers didn't even have a chance to run the ball with one side of the line collapsed & Mendenhall barely saw the field because of it. We'll regroup next week to keep pace with Baltimore in the division, but no way, no how the Steelers look that bad the rest of the season. That was just as ugly as it gets from all cylinders. Super Bowls aren't won in Week 10. We got beat like a red headed step child tonight. So be it, when the playoffs come, it'll be a different circumstance if the cards are played right.

I like the Colts in this one. The Colts have even more of a laundry list of players in the ice-tub, but I can see Brady atleast being harassed somewhat with those stud defensive ends in Freeney and Mathis rather than having 10 seconds to throw the ball. Manning won't be running for his life and will scorch and pick apart the Patriots defense the way it's meant to be picked apart and that'll put Brady in a bind enough to where the defense will actually adjust through the air, along with a pass rush that may get to him. Over the past two weeks, the Pats played their worst game of the season, and their absolute best game of the season so I think Manning can go there and pass a frenzy on them.

No way, no how Manning is going to get sacked 6 times & throw less than 200! Don't let the smoke and mirrors victory of the Steelers cloud your perspective on how the Pats can man up against Manning and that Colts offense. The Patriots took major advantage against a Steelers game plan that couldn't be executed because of lack of personal, mostly on the offensive line. The Steelers couldn't even put their most explosive guy on the field in Mendenhall because when Ward went down, so did our entire chance of having any sort of run game.

I don't see that happening against Manning and the Colts. Manning is going to find the holes in that N.E secondary and pass on them all day long. It's a different landscape of how these teams are built and I think with N.E having a complete game and not really being challenged whatsoever in Pittsburgh, I think Manning and the Colts will school that Patriots defense the way Brady schooled the Steelers last night. I think the Pats are a very good team, but NOT as good as they looked last night against the Steelers. That's a one week thrashing that is hard to duplicate.

I actually think the Patriots are more talented than this Colts team is but as we learned last night, that doesn't matter much in the NFL.

I'm a lifelong Patriots fan and I honestly have no idea how this team keeps winning. The Patriots of 2007 is the absolute BEST team I've ever seen in the history of the NFL, so there was never much mystery for me why that team won. I was convinced that nobody would beat that team and am still convinced if the Giants played them 100 times, the Giants would lose 99 of those games. This Patriots team is sooooooo average in the talent department. Their defense is VERY young, so who knows what they'll become. What I do know is they have very few guys on offense who are above average (the QB, Logan Mankins, and their tight ends). I've been saying for years in the NFL that if you have a great coach and a great QB, you're guaranteed to win at least 8 to 10 games a season. Most NFL teams simply don't comprehend this concept. There is just no way that given the talent level on the Patriots that they should be talked about as one of the "elite" teams in the NFL.

That had enforcer Mankins, aka the Patriots' starting left guard, explaining why there was some extra pushing and shoving after Brady's score, as Mankins was locked up with safety Troy Polamalu.

He could of came up with a better insult for Troy, atleast. He's talking about Troy's hair as an insult when defending Tom Brady, who actually looks hotter than his wife with those purty hair extensions. Seriously, I'm so incredibly sick and tired of Tom Brady being the dick he is and mouthing off to the Heinz Field crowd any chance he can get and he certainly takes his shots. He's a loudmouth, sometimes can be worse than Phillip Rivers with his attitude and yells at his receivers like Marino when things don't go his way. Watching him smile and glee from ear to ear, as a Steeler fan being defeated, is the ultimate slap in the face and it's even more frustrating as a fan to know we'll never stop the son of a bitch.

The dude is probably the greatest competitor I've ever seen against the Steelers (The 3 giant Stiller killers was Steve McNair, Fred Taylor and now Tom Brady owns that # 1 spot) but the dude is simply never tested against the Steelers when having all day to throw and find that open reciever with ease. If anything, I think It's Bellichick more-so than Brady and I acknowledged that coaching has a lot to do with teams with less talent, and Bellichick is one of the best.

Good win, dude. Your Pats seriously did make the Steelers look like the Buccaneers of the 80's but Jon Kitna looked like Troy Aikmen as well this week. I'll be looking forward to a re-match as scary as that is.

Manning doesn't get sacked 6 times in a season, so I definitely agree it isn't happening in one game. Also, in spite of Pittsburgh's awful performance, the Patriots are not a great pass rushing team, AT ALL! As for Peyton throwing for under 200 yards, I agree that it isn't likely, because I see it being a high scoring game, but it should also be noted that Peyton has thrown for under 200 yards twice this season (including yesterday) and his brother has more TD's than he has!

No. Dude, where were you? If you go through my posts, you will actually find me in saying that I fear no other team other than the Pats, because as long as Brady is at the helm and Bellichick running the team, they will always have a shot. The Pats are clearly in a shell of their former selves and aren't that good overall (They did lose to Cleveland 2 weeks ago the same way the Steelers lost to you within a complete game.) They are a great team, but they aren't nearly as good as they looked last night and the Steelers aren't anywhere near that bad. It was an old fashion beatdown with flawless execution.

Also, I was the same guy to pick the Pats "more than 6 points or more" and argued with you all week that even though talent doesn't say much, the Steelers will be out-coached and out-played and for some reason you wanted to argue against that belief, Mr. Pittsburgh by potentially 4 touchdowns but I'll say by one.

While you're not going to get any argument from me about Belichick (he is the only head coach in the NFL who you EVER see actually coaching his team during a game on the sidelines), that game last night was all about Brady. The dude was flawless! That first TD pass to Gronkowski was RIDICULOUS and most QB's couldn't make that pass in practice. As for Brady's spiking of the ball... if you're from New England, you know how much Brady hates Pittsburgh. It goes all the way back to early in his career when all the Steelers ever did was run their mouths and book hotel rooms for a Super Bowl that they would never earn their way to. There isn't a team in the NFL that Brady likes beating more than the Steelers, because they are the typical "bully" who intimidates almost every team in the NFL with the exception of Baltimore and New England.

I'll be looking forward to a re-match as scary as that is.

Given Brady's history against Pittsburgh, I should also be looking forward to a rematch, but I'm honestly not. I still think the Steelers are a very good team and will be heard from come playoff time. The only saving grace is that New England now wins any tie-breakers for home field advantage, but I think I'd almost rather see them play in Heinz Field.

You'd be crazy not to. I think whenever the Pats play the Steelers in Heinz, the Steelers logo should be painted over as a New England logo and paint the endzones blue. Brady wins more in Pittsburgh than he does at Foxboro and he's undefeated there this year!
