The one thing I'll predict is that Rex Ryan will be running some trick plays tonight Watch for Brad Smith to throw a pass at a key point and he'll probably even have Cromartie running kicks or punts back even though he hasn't returned any kicks all season.

Blitzing Brady the entire game is usually a recipe for disaster. I agree with Travis...this simply isn't going to be a high scoring game in my opinion. If the Patriots score 38 points against the Jets defense, look out NFL.

Flacco didn't miss any blitz read dude. Palamalu was expecting a run, with 99.8% of the rest of the country! What the fuck were they doing passing on that play(where Flacco fumbled)? Run the ball into the line two more times and if you don't get the first down, punt it away from your own 45. The Steelers in no way could move the length of the field. That game was OVER.

Baltimore lost that game, moreso than the Steelers won it.

I get that you need an offense to win a game, but with that defense, you aren't going to outscore teams like the Jets, San Diego or Atlanta, Green Bay and New Orleans.

Sorry Dean, but you're wrong on this one. While I don't disagree with your assessment about the putrid Patriots defense, Brady can absolutely outscore anyone team in the NFL when he's on his game. I think that his track record proves that, and in my opinion, this is his best season, ever (yes, even better than the 50 TD season). Dude is back to his roots and throwing the ball to guys like Branch and Woodhead. I'm 100% convinced that he is the guy who wanted Moss gone and got his wish. Even though I know Brady likes Moss personally, Brady is about the team and understood that Moss' diva attitude is counterproductive to winning.

I agree Dan. It's a close matchup between two good teams. I think the kicking game is going to be VERY shaky on both sides tonight. Not great weather conditions for field goals. I suspect you'll see a few more 4th downs gone for in this one and any FG's over 45 yards passed up.

I like the Jets, However, at some point, the sophomore slump is gonna hit Sanchez. He doesn't take care of the football. If the Pats get any pass rush, they'll force a couple turnovers off him...if he doesn't do so himself. Jets may have a great defense, but the one thing they can't stop is their own QB from giving the ball away.

Pats may be ranked dead last in overall defense, but they're pretty good at forcing timely turnovers. Pats remind me of the Saints of last year. Scoring at will, marching up and down the field. Their defense? Also getting marched up and down the field. But in the end, one side or the other finds a way to make that one extra play that sealed the deal. Saints won the Super Bowl on a Pick-6. The Pats are capable of doing the same this year.

You forgot to mention Ryan's moronic call of going for a 53 yard FG with a kicker who can't hit water in the open ocean! Going for a 53 yard FG is a low percentage play, in ideal conditions with the greatest kicker ever. It's simply an indefensible call.

All those down to the wire wins finally caught up with the Jets. Last season, Sanchez was an interception king and that's been one of the things he's worked on this year, taking care of the football. His first pick against the Pats tonight was his first redzone pick this season. What an embarrassment, the Jets were doomed from the kickoff, no chance coming out with no soul. The Jets needed their rear-end kicked because Rex Ryan's early season Super Bowl press conferences were getting sickening so I'm glad they got stomped and wiped the floor with. I'm not too thrilled the AFC is going through Foxboro, Brady is simply unstoppable and that's putting it lightly. The only way to beat him is to go after him and that only works to a small degree. Bellichick beats you with scheme & has the best in football. It doesn't matter who he has in there and they'll be instant stars.
