Deano, your story reminded me of something we did in high school. It was like 98F degrees and humid and we were on our lunch break in junior year of high school cruising around the school smoking doobies for lunch. We saw some jocks running who were on the football team, and this stoner friend of mine in the back seat yelled "Turn this bitch around, there's that fucking jock punk who was picking on me in gym class earlier today!" I spun my '73 Chevy wagon around at his direction and we were facing the group of jocks running towards us on the same side of the street. Out of nowhere, my stoner friend tossed a full XL ice water from McD's right into this kid's bare chest at 35MPH, and it dropped him flat as several of his fellow runners tripped over him and each other. As we sped away at 60MPH, I was yelling WTF!!!@ my stoner friend, and he was laughing his ass off.

That's right folks, I just was booked on a ONE WAY trip to............................Hell.

Let me tell you how I became so lucky to take this upcoming journey.

Yesterday at lunch, I was at the drive up window at Burger King, awaiting my Whopper with cheese, add mustard value meal, complete with onion rings and zesty sauce, and a large Coke. EVERY time I pull out of that place, there is a homeless black guy at the end of the drive out lane and the entry to Pico Blvd. That sonofabitch always has his hand out for change/money. Everytime I say something to him in the form of "get a job" or "fuck you ya lazy bastard" or even the "fuck off and die" comment. This time, I had had enough. Just a bad tiring day at work, and I wasn't about to give this non working choad any money.

So I eased out from the window and saw the bastard standing there about 30 feet away, anticipating my arrival. I looked down and saw a watered down soda from yesterday's KFC.....it contained no ice and was about 2/3rds full(I hate Pepsi, that's why it wasn't empty). So I deftly popped the plastic lid off one handed while continuing to ease down to the curb to where Mr. "I am not working ever" was standing. As soon as I got up to him, I leaned my head out the window, smiling, like I was going to chuck him a few quarters or something....instead, when he took a step towards me, I threw my watered down KFC Pepsi right square in his grill....I immediatley turned right onto Pico and hauled ass away, all the while looking in the rear view mirror, laughing hysterically. That sorry fucker was all pissed off, wiping the soda off his hair and face!

I have seen this piece of shit twice since then and continue to hurl abuse his way when I pass him on the street. I am not afraid of him at all, as I can take him, but you know how these fuckers roll....they may have guns or knives. Whatever, I am going to get him again someway somehow. I am thinking of driving through the big puddle on the street that he stands next to while begging for change, splashing that sonofabitch fron head to toe!

How do you know what his real life circumstances are? Man, did you just confirm that you can be an asshole in real life too? Fuck, dude, was that really necessary?

and I would be glad to put gas in it and give that to him ...period!! I felt I was in complete
control of the situation until he grabbed me and hugged me very tight. Initially, I thought he

Here, outside L.A., The City of Glendale delved into why they weren't getting that many homeless into their winter shelter at the National Guard Armory. They don't have many vagrants to begin with but they went out on a fact finding mission and came up with this. The average homeless person in Glendale can make towards $200 a day if they put in a full day of panhandling. They choose to beg because it alleviates them of any fiscal responsibilties. The question about the lack of participants in the shelter program tied in with this because the homeless would rather use their money to rent a hotel room, where they could drink, smoke and do their drugs, which of course would be prohibited at the shelter. If you can make $200 a day, paying 35 bucks for a skanky hotel room on the city limits isn't much of a problem, especially as you would only have to do it perhaps 30 days out of the year.

My husband and I went to an NBA game a few years ago and when we come out there are always literally hundreds of people lining the streets begging for money. Many of them have cardboard signs pleading their case and asking for money. There was one guy, however, that had a professionally made vinyl sign that said something like "Unemployed, need money for food for my family." Well, let's start with saving money on your professionally made signs!!!!!!!
