General Intelligent Discussion & One Thread About That Buttknuckle

I can't believe this game is as CLOSE as it is. If the Jets had ANY kind of offense, then they blow this team out. Brady is out of sync and they are playing right in the hands of how the Jets play. Man, that Jets offense is so bad which is a shame because they need to stomp these guys out. Giving Brady any chances for a comeback is something of a nightmare, no matter how good the Jets D is playing.

I know it's hilarious. The Jets just keep letting NE hang around. I see NE winning it in the 4th.

What a pathetic effort by Branch. It's okay if you drop it. It's just a game.

Well, as I said...the HORRENDOUS, WORST COACHING CALL IN HISTORY cost the Pats this game. It would have been tied up otherwise.

The Steelers should be VERY careful of what they wish for. The Jets are FOR REAL, and they look like a VERY focused team right now.

You know it came down to ONE dropped pass right? Team allegiances aside. Jets didn't show anything today. Playcalling, and a dropped Crumpler pass lost this game.

There were a LOT of things that this game down to...one pass wasn't it. It might have changed the complexion a bit...but the fact is the Patriots D weren't as effective as they needed to be.

Glad you posted...we were worried you took a rope, hopped into traffic, slit your wrists or dove off a bridge after the humiliating loss!

Yeah, one dropped pass. And the fact that the Jets managed to not be down 52-17 when that dropped pass occured. And the fact that the Jets completely dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

They were given the short field by whom? The refs?

They made the plays on both sides of the ball, and harassed Brady all day. They got beat soundly!

2 onside kicks were the result of being beaten for the first 3 1/2 quarters.
A botched fake punt, blame either your coach or the dope that dropped the ball.
An INT, the result of the pressure the Jets defense put on Brady.

That's why you play the game, folks. Brady is an incredible QB, but he's just not that awesome coming from behind. They had a game plan, stuck to it, and rattled the shit out of Brady. The Pats defense got exposed today, as well.

I like the Steelers-Packers Super Bowl pairing now.

Matt....learn some football. The INT came on a screen. The ball just got away from Brady....there was no pressure on that play. That's a 14 pt swing right there. And the dropped pass by Alge....Jets had a missed FG. And drove the filed ONCE.
