Not that I believe it just yet but I wouldn't be completely surprised if it really is true. The longer it is between its passage and into its implementation, the more people will forget what a crap bill and it is and just get used to it, which is exactly what Obama and the other libtards are counting on.

Aww, way to go to the namecalling card when EVIDENCE is presented AGAINST our POV. You are wrong on more levels than Bush ever was, and that was every one. 7 Wishes rightfully pointed out about 8 months ago, that the more people learn of the benefits of this law, not bill, the more they will like it. He is proven correct. In about 6 months from now, people will favour this law...mark my fucking words.

And David...goddammit, I thought you were better than this? Dude, just because it has turned out that the Obamacare law is in fact being seen by more people in a favourable light, you have ZERO response, other than to call Obama and us on the left, 'tards." That's all you got? if this is any indication of our new and improved GOP House, , then I was right, enjoy your two year do nothing term assholes.

You, of all people, have no moral high ground to be calling me out on namecalling.

Secondly, unless I'm missing something in the article you posted, it doesn't say anything about support rising as people learn more about it. My assertion that the longer the time between passage and implementation is, the more people aren't concerned about it only because it isn't as up front and on the news all the time as it was at the time it was being debated before Congress. Same thing goes for the Patriot Act, for instance (which I oppose). The more time has gone on, the more people have accepted it because it's just not being talked about as much. That doesn't mean it isn't a crap law, because it still is.

...funny how the polls during the time it was passed by the Dem led Congress showed pretty unfavorable opinions... yet it PASSED...

A Dem Congress passed it when 50% didn't want it, so the likelihood that it will be repealed or rendered impotent by a Rep Congress is just as likely... There's a higher likelyhood nothing will happen becaseu the Reps don't control Conress (yet).... you should have known that with your "poli-sci"... degree.. or was that in poli-science fiction?

ONE poll showing a favorable opinion is pretty meaningless...

Repeal will NEVER, ever happen. Only 1 in 4 - and that figure includes Republicans - even want that anymore.

Sorry, but you're in an ever-diminishing minority.

How many seats are Democrats defending in 2012 Dean? How about the Republicans?

You're smarter than that.

I agree. They won't be able to repeal it. The best shot is to defeat it in the courts.

LOL, citing a Rasmussen poll...hahahaha, ok FF, THAT must mean it is right?! Too funny.

Dude, let me help you out here. Rasmussen is a right leaning pollster. He slants all the questions his way in order to get the desired response. Come on man?

That's probably where I'm at. There are probably some good things in the law, but there is a LOT that needs to be throw out, and some that should be included, IMO. Is the repeal vote political grandstanding? I think so. But given our current system (all or nothing), I guess that's the route they have to go to get their point across. Our system sucks in a lot of ways... :?

Connecticut is far too liberal to be "in the mix".

I do think the GOP will assume control of Congress unless there's a backlash in 2012. Chances at the White House? 55-45, unless it's Palin.

If it's Palin I am not going to vote for President...as the Rush song says...If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.

While I like her, she is NOT ready to be President.

Cons, cons cons....you dumbfucks get more and more myopic by the day.

I know it's early, but even Ray Charles could see that Obama is polling well against EVERY GOP opponent, with Romney doing the best, losing to Obama by 10.

Gooooooooooooood luuuuuuck!

You can kiss the White House goodbye.

You'll never see my name on the bottom of the ticket....fuck that!

As for predictions, I also predicted correctly, within 1 electoral college vote, the Obama victory. Had it not been for the quirky Nebraska corner going blue, I would have been dead on.

I just hope and pray Palin runs. So does Obama.

Yeah you did...after McCain killed his own campaign by "returning to Washington to address the crisis", that's where Obama REALLY got his wings in '08.
Agreed on Obama wanting Palin to run.

Yeah, McCain going to DC to address an issue he has no idea to solve didn't help, but the day he nominated that fucking bimbo to his ticket he was fucked. The guy didn't ask her one question. He looked at her and said, "yep, she is our only chance." The Media, correctly so I might add, vetted her properly. The media did McCain's job for him, and the media did the United States and her people a huge favour. The media isn't hard on that dipshit because of her politicas...they are simply exposing an airhead for what she is...an airhead, who is very dangerous.

According to my favorite talk show host in Austin (Jeff Ward), Perry will run for President and since Kay Bailey H has declared that she won't run again for the Senate that she will run for Governor; Perry's 2nd in command, David Dewhurst, will run for Kay Bailey's seat int he Senate. Isn't that just ducky? Thing is Perry has a lot of clout, a lot of money, Karl Rove, has shot and killed a coyote that was menacing him and his little dog, and looks really awesome in political ads standing around with the Texas Rangers. He also has all his hair and it is quite full and lustrous without any comb-over. He is a shoo-in. OH, he's also been on Oprah. Oh and also he wrote his own kind of "Mein Kampf" which is called, "Fed Up." FF and RWF are probably already in his column just with the little ol' coyote shooting, TX Rangers, and "Fed Up" parts, lol.

Get ready.
