I'm glad I was born in 1988  The Steelers of the mid- 80's were absolutley disgustingly bad. They made it to the playoffs in the 80's 3 times, once to the AFC Championship game but after '84, all the dynasty players of the 70's retired.

My dad taped every game back then on VHS and I can't even stomach to watch that team. In 1989, Bubby actually had a solid season, taking us to the playoffs, upsetting the Oilers in the first round and almost pulled the upset again against Elway's Broncos to advance to the Title game. Bubby played solid that year but the team was bad (other than Woodson, and Hoge) until Cowher was hired in 1992. Bubby DID get two rings with Denver in '97;'98 8)

Sadly, if the past 20 years is our barometer, Grogan was already retired. Dude was a pretty good QB in his day and tough as nails for the skinny fuck that he was.

Grogan and his Patriots should have easily won 7 Super Bowls.

I know, huh? All those fuckin holding calls against the Pats O line and that one awful non call PI against the Steelers. The Pats should have won at least 6 Super Bowls! You can't deny those terrible penalty calls went against the Patriots.

Don't forget that BS unnecessary roughness call in the '76 playoffs against the Patriots defense for "allegedly" knocking Stabler in the head on 3rd down. 15 yards and the first down kept the drive alive and the Raiders went on to win their first Super Bowl. :D

Stop it. I've been sportin' my slick back hair since I was a 6th grader who saw his first pube. Giselle made him extensions so she could twirl something in her fingers while she did his nails. Not cool man, not cool. Other than the hair, I look nothing like the dude, he has weird ass eye-balls and some weird teeth when he smiles. It looks like he smelled one big piece of dump when he smiles.

believe me i started watching football in 1985 as a ten year old and the team i chose as my favorite were the steelers and boy were they mediocre.mark malone was QB. i went through years of watching 8-8 football until i turned 21 and officially bought my first beer on believe it or not super bowl sunday 1996 steelers vs. cowboys.finally saw 'em get to the big game but they lost.i live in tennessee and we didn't have team then but finally got one in 1999 and i've been a titan fan ever since.the titans got to a super bowl too but lost.ever since '99 i'm a diehard titans fan but i still root for pittsburgh occasionally.the steelers have done very good the past decade.

Anyone catch the Raiders' presser today? Hilarious.

Al Davis, the Godmother, was in rare form. He spent more time blasting outgoing(Seattle Bound), in fact long gone coach, Tom Cable. Alice was donning a huge bandaid over his lettucless dome, running waterboarding smack on Cable. Alice said that Cable bringing his old lady on roasd trips violated everything the raiders stand for, yet going into a room and smashing another coaches puss in was ok. Al should kill himself. How goodell sleeps at night with this lunatic running one of the NFL's franchises is beyond me. It has to embarrass Roger big time.

Al is on a weekend pass from the cemetery. They let the dude out for good behavior. He's quickly becoming Rose Kennedy, where they wheel the fucker out once a year just to prove to the world that he's still alive

Oh fuck that! I have seen enough of Pittsburgh. Boring team. I am pulling for Rex to get there and win it all. That guy is awesome, runs bitter smack and is funny as fuck. The Steelers can suck my crank.

Too much of that Jeiger-shit? All 4 teams left in this tournament play the same kind of football. The Steelers/Packers/Bears/Jets all play the same style of brand. Hard nosed defense's and offense's that dictate on what the defense can give them. Like I said earlier, watching the Pack reminded me SO much of the Steelers that it was odd. The Bears, historically known for the same context in swarming defense, is the same mold of Pittsburgh and Rex Ryan's team CERTAINLY counter-acts in exactly what Pittsburgh does. A Packers/Steelers Super Bowl would be an instant classic if they play to their capability, as would ANY OTHER matchup.

Here's a stat that will blow your mind: If Pittsburgh advances, Roethlisberger, Manning and Brady would be the only quarterbacks to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl since 2003. '03 (Brady) '04 (Brady) '05 (Ben) '06 (Manning) '07 (Brady) '08 (Ben) '09 (Manning) and if the Steelers win Sunday, '10 (Ben.)
