Super Bowl XLV: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Green Bay Packers.
Dallas, Texas.

Pittsburgh/Green Bay: In my pre-season prediction, I picked the Pack to win it all! Let's hope I'm wrong! Offense sells tickets, DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS! Lets bring the heat on #12 and make him very, very un-comfortable on that Dallas Texas turf! Both teams are very similiar and play the same style 34 defense that one and the other wants to torment the opposing Super Bowl teams QB. Luckily for the Steelers, they have the better overall defense with a better pass rush, a more clutch-like QB who has been here done that before and a head coach who never lets them come out flat. Green Bay is one helluva team, they were my NFC team all along since September but I think if Rodgers gets behind early, then that would spell doom for Green Bay. They HAVE to pick the Steelers apart or the Steelers will have their way.
Final Score:

Steelers 28
Packers 17

Good luck to ALL Green Bay fans. We respect everything about you here in Pittsburgh. Lets hope both teams go out in grace and give other NFL teams and their fans one helluva Super Bowl!

HERE WE GO!

You do realize that Green Bay has a REALLY good defense, right? In case you didn't notice it, during the regular season, Green Bay gave up exactly 8 more points than the vaunted Steelers defense gave up. I know you don't believe it, but these two defenses cancel each other out, and I could make the argument that Green Bay's defense is better and has a FAR better secondary. I don't think even Steeler fans believe they have a better offense than Green Bay has. Ultimately, I'll be elated as an NFL fan if it's a great game and Pittsburgh loses. Go Packers!

2 & 5 defense respectively. Pittsburgh 2, Green Bay 5 so Pittsburgh has the overall better defense so I am certainly aware of how good the Packers defense can be. Stats can be thrown out the window. It all comes down to ONE game regardless of past achievements. The glaring thing that sticks out is that Pittsburgh can run the ball, and Green Bay can't. The art of the game was that if a team can run and stop the run, you are better off. Pittsburgh has both. Who cares, we will find out tonight who will be champions. I respect Green Bay and their organization, great matchup. Can't ask for anything better.

Right, but that's only yards per game given up. Points given up is the stat that matters most for a defense. In that category, they are one and two respectively, and Green Bay has given up a whopping half a point more per game than Pittsburgh. Listen, I'm not saying that Pittsburgh doesn't have a good defense. They would be nowhere near this game without a great defense, because their offense is VERY average. All I'm saying is that your comment about "defense wins championships" comes across as if the team on the other side of the field knows nothing about defense!

Now, that's something to hang your hat on and an intelligent argument. I think that if the Steelers can run the ball and control the clock, they win this game. They won't get into a shootout with the Packers again and come away with the victory.

If I were the GB braintrust, I'd draw up some quick slants....reverses, and draw plays. Cause Pitt's adjustments will be plenty of blitzing. Mix in a few bubble screens....and there's your game. Gotta slow down the pass rush.

Rodgers did a great job finding his hot read when the Steelers blitzed in the 1st half.

What's with this Fergie chick trying to channel Axl Rose? Fucking DREADFUL! It would have been a hell of a lot more interesting if she got a bit more intimate with Slash's guitar, as she was trying to do

You know it's bad when dude has to wear a suit made of light bulbs. The whole thing is terrible. If butterface isn't going to get naked it's a waste of time.

Was she ever hot? She looks weather beaten to fuck. This is the first time I've ever really seen her, and she looks gross up close. It looks like she's been through a mix of too much Jack and a cheese grater.

I haven't heard anyone mention it but what the fuck was with Tomlin even contemplating allowing that stiff Suisham to attempt a 52 yard field goal? That fucker barely hits his extra points. After watching this game, Green Bay should be up by a whole lot more than they are. I don't think I've ever seen so many dropped passes in a Super Bowl.
