See the media is already piling on Bachmann. I won't argue that some isn't deserved. Find it curious though that you hear from the likes of Letterman that she needs to do her homework, but nary a word about Obama's gaffes, including remembering clearly, awarding his first medal of honor...handing it a guy... that was DEAD!

Realistically, Bachmann only has a crack as a running mate. Too young, too inexperienced, and too controversial to in the nomination - and, in any case, too conservative to win a general election. She hasn't learned her lesson - Bush Jr. governed from the far right on most counts, but came across as an ambiguous slightly-conservative moderate in the primaries in 2000. You can't successfully dig your feet in that far off the center line and still be populist enough to defeat what is, in essence, a very moderate Democrat in Obama who has continued Bush's fiscal and foreign policies.

How anyone can not be disgusted by this administration blows my mind.

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/06 ... -is-fired/

It’s an Obama world…
In December Vince Cefalu of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms publicized the agency’s role in allowing thousands of guns to cross the U.S. border and fall into the hands of Mexican drug gangs.

Now agent Cefalu is without a job. The ATF terminated him this week.
FOX News reported:

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is being accused of retaliating against an agent who helped publicize the agency’s role in allowing thousands of guns to cross the U.S. border and fall into the hands of Mexican drug gangs.

The agent, Vince Cefalu, who has spoken out about the ATF’s so-called “Project Gunrunner” scandal, says he was served with termination papers just last week, and he calls the move politically motivated.

“Aside from Jay Dobyns, I don’t know of anyone that’s been more vocal about ATF mismanagement than me,” said Cefalu, a senior special agent based in Dublin, Calif. “That’s why this is happening.” Dobyns, an ATF special agent based in Tucson, has appeared several times on Fox News to discuss the scandal.

Cefalu first told FoxNews.com about the ATF’s embattled anti-gun smuggling operation in December, before the first reports on the story appeared in February. “Simply put, we knowingly let hundreds of guns and dozens of identified bad guys go across the border,” Cefalu said at the time.

Since then, Cefalu’s claims have been vindicated, as a number of agents with first-hand knowledge of the case came forward. The scandal over Project Gunrunner led to congressional hearings, a presidential reprimand – Obama called the operation “a serious mistake” – and speculation that ATF chief Ken Melson will resign.

Yet last week, Cefalu, who has worked for the agency for 24 years, was forced to turn in his gun and badge. He can appeal but will be on “paid administrative leave” during the process.

Tell me exactly what this has to do with Obama?

Keep the fire in the belly, though, RWF. No-one here is gonna rain on your parade and tell you it's actually Limbaugh spooge that's causing your stomach pains.

Oh yeah, I'm sure he knows nothing about it. He has other priorities right now.

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2011/06 ... undraiser/

Team Obama released a fundraising ad filmed inside the White House this week.
Fundraising from inside the White House is generally prohibited by law.
Real Clear Politics reported on the latest White House scandal:

In response to the uproar the Obama White House released a statement today. They now claim that the fundraiser was not really a fundraiser.
FOX Nation reported:

In response to questions about whether the president and his political team had stayed safely on the legal side of the relevant statutes, White House officials made three arguments. First, they said, an open process for small donors to essentially win a raffle is not the kind of fundraising prohibited under the law — and the president didn’t make a direct appeal for donations, anyway. Second, they pointed to a longstanding advisory opinion from the Justice Department that differentiates between the residence portion of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. — where the aide said Obama had been filmed — and official rooms in the White House. Third, they said, Obama’s approach is in keeping with the practices of his predecessors.

You see… What you thought was a fundraiser was not really a fundraiser. And, the law really doesn’t mean White House it means only certain wings of the White House.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

Ahhhh....I see. But when four junior Republican Senators had a 100% nothing-but-a-fundraiser fundraiser in the Whte House the exact time they were supposed to be sworn in (illegally, in absentia), it was perfectly alright. Remember? You personally said there was nothing wrong with it.

While we see stories in the mainstream media all the time about how hateful Tea Party members are, I'm betting there will be little or no mention of this from those same media outlets.

Riiiight. Beck's message is all about love.

Any corroboration of that alleged event? Of course there is no excuse for it if it happened, but let's not forget who blows up abortion clinics, assassinates pro-choice physicians, and beats up Democrats at Tea Party rallies.

Beck and his fellow conjurors of lies at Faux are responsible for 90% of the violent rhetoric in the media these days. For God's sake, if you don't realize this, you're really in denial.

Dave, when was the last time you read about a bunch of gays beating up some skinheads at a biker rally? I didn't think so.

Anyway, yet ANOTHER GOP politician is playing someone's music without permission:

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/tom-petty-reportedly-wants-bachmann-stop-using-american-202756833.html

That pretty much leaves you guys with George Strait and his illiterate ilk and Ted Nugent. I suppose Bachmann will now resort to playing "Stranglehold" at her events.

The good news is, North Korea would have beaten the U.S. women's soccer team if it hadn't been collectively struck by lightning several weeks ago:

You guys? Since when have I EVER uttered ANY support for either George Strait or Ted Nugent? Sorry, but this is no gotcha moment here.

You missed the point.

Almost every non-country musician in the world at the very least leans to the left. Only hackneyed, knee-slapping, slack-jawed, ukelele-and banjo-playing, lowest-common-denominator-coddling county singers and Ted Nugent will allow Republicans to use their songs to campaign these days.

No, I didn't miss the point. I simply don't care. I'm sick of the Nugents AND Springsteens of the world. It's not like musicians OR actors are really known for being the sharpest tools in the shed.

How does looking at people lifting dumbbells constitute work?

Anyhow; it's well documented that even though most Europeans work less than the average American, they're far more effective.
