Ahhhhh yes, you must be talking about Tony Royster Jr. Phenomenal drummer from the time he was about 10! Smitty has worked with him and has high praises for him.

Another "WOW" kid is this 11 yr. old (he's now 16). Now these kids can f-ing rock! Their band is called Mindwalk Blvd and they've got a bunch of originals and have won all sorts of Battle of the Bands comp's, etc. This vid is them playing YYZ followed by a kickass original. If you like them, there are a ton of vids to watch on YT.
