Knowing the material is obviously the most important thing but you're also preparing for life after college and students who put in the additional work of showing up to class, just like showing up for work and being a team player, is also important. If you couldn't handle getting a lower grade because of it, then boo-freakin-hoo!"

Well, her explanation was bogus. She made up, on the spot, a class participation excuse. Then when confronted with my counter-argument, switched back to attendance, then back to class participation when faced with another bit of logic. If class participation is one criteria for a full grade, then why treat students differently? Attending class, but not contributing is the same as not being there at all. I would think a philosophy professor would be aware of that kind of logic.

you sound like a real piece of work...

Listen, I have no idea who you are, or what your issue is with me. But you can take your scathing, hit and run post - and shove it up your tongue box. And if you're a guy, well you probably have one just the same. And when you are finished with that, go get me a fuckin' beer.

The way I've heard it most is Mick-KALE.

Well, however it's pronounced, she and Neal are skanks.

Is it even her real name?

The Wikipedia article has "Michaele Salahi (née Michelle Ann "Missy" Holt)" as part of her personal information.

No wonder she has issues. Her parents must be whack jobs.

I'm telling you all now ... Neal Schon's Chain Of Love (there's no beginning, there's no end). That would make a great title. You could have the ex-wives on there bashing the shit out of him, Herbie would make a GREAT guest   , and the series could culminate next month with him dumping this chick.

I'm not sure if this was posted before but I came across this article from USA Today & I thought it was interesting:

Journey's Neal Schon: 'Been waiting' for Michaele Salahi for 15 years

You may have been rolling your eyes and muttering stunt! at the news of Michaele Salahi's sudden split from husband Tareq for Journey guitarist Neal Schon.

But to Michaele and Neal, it's a case of true love finally being realized.

Michaele and Neal have been communicating with The Daily Beast's Diane Dimond, via telephone and text, as Journey continues its cross-country tour.

"It's like a fairy tale. It is, it really is," Schon told Dimond from a hotel room in Tampa. "I'm very happy, very happy after waiting for her for 15 years. Now I want to get beyond all this media hype that Tareq has put out there. It's really quite embarrassing."

The two got together after Michaele and Tareq went to a Labor Day weekend Journey concert near their Virginia home.

"Neal was like, 'Are we going to do this forever?' And I said, 'No, we're not,'" Michaele said of the moment she realized it was time to leave Tareq. "I began to see he really loved me. I had to begin to feel it completely–in my soul."

She took off her wedding ring in front of Tareq, says Neal, and then told Neal, "I love YOU."

Ok so while he was faithfully waiting, he decided to marry someone else
knowing that when Michaele was ready he would dump that wife for her?

Isn't that how he's been with Perry and singers?

Tareq Salahi posed for America's trashiest magazine Steppin' Out: "My advice to other married men is to stay away from Journey." To be fair, all humans with eardrums should stay away from Journey.

Tareq says he went through Michaele's email (is that legal?) and discovered her affair with Neal Schon goes back at least two years. "I was in denial when I first found out about her leaving me. I thought it was an old picture with Neal. I didn't realize she was in Tennessee until the FBI confirmed it. I couldn't believe it. As soon as I realized it was true, my antenna went up. They told me not only is she there, but she's not coming back. She left just with the clothes on her back. All her personal things were left behind. It didn't make sense. Especially a woman."

Oh my god, what if Journey hypnotized Michaele with their terrible music, then led her away, the Pied Piper of Don't Stop Believin'? At left, Tareq partying with "Manhattan madam" Kristin Davis. Top right, with Michaele. Bottom right, posing with feet for Steppin' Out. [Steppin' Out, images via Getty, AP, SO]
