WOW, thanks for sharing that. Mickey's dropped off my radar over the years, but holy moly, what a great voice he's got. I loved his JS stuff (didn't dig the Built This City Album and hated when Grace sang). He was always a great singer.
The last I heard about Mickey was (and I don't know if this is true) some bastard in a bar cut his face all up. Have you guys heard that? Might've been a rumor, but supposedly, some jealous guy actually cut his face really bad. That's the story they told up here years ago.

I don't think Mickey hasn't experienced any loss either, though. I'm guessing he was never (?) a smoker, so his voice is well-preserved.
