It has also been reported that torture goes on in prisons in some Middle Eastern Countries. Similar reports of torture occurring in North Korea. Where is the U.N. and the world on taking action on those situations? To the best of my recollection a real spotlight or action hasn't addressed them. Seems to me there is a fair amount of others that needed to be charged and brought to trial first. After all, they have been getting away with it longer then those accused of torture in the CIA.
What the fuck is wrong with you people? You seriously believe in a "He did it first, so I can do it to!" policy over something like this? As an American, I do not give a damn what some third world country does, or a rogue band of morons. I care what THIS country does. The United States acting like a third world nation is fucking stupid.
Before we address those involved at the CIA, how about first putting the captured terrorists on trial in the same fashion as the Nuremberg Trials?
go ahead...doesn't bother me any. Bring them to the US and put them on trial in our court system....since they are not officially "prisoners of war", that's what needs to be done. Or, redefine them as prisoners of war and try them in military court. Again, it doesn't bother me any.
Who does it bother? Republicans...they refuse the terrorists coming to the US in any way, especially to enter our prison system before trial. And, redefining them as prisoners of war and using military trials seem to be taking FOREVER.
BTW, whose saying we should kill all Muslims?
Oh, please...go back and read the posts...That has been repeated here a few times over the years.
Maybe if the terrorists were executed for their war crimes
ACCUSED terrorists. A trial has to be held first.
Seems to me people are more quick condemn those that are trying to protect the U.S.
Damn right...I'll condemn anybody who is acting like Hitler. Every time Cheney speaks about this subject, he sounds more and more like a Nazi.
and easily sympathize with those that have attacked (or cooperated with) us, our allies and interests.
I have not sympathized with terrorists - at all.
What I see is people defending their political beliefs and party at the expense of the morality of their country. VERY sad. You self described patriots should be the FIRST in line to condemn such things.
As far as execution goes, the world would be up in arms if we executed the terrorists after trial but it would be O.K. to do it to a member of the CIA? That's some interesting logic.
Why do you people make shit up? You don't know how the world would react in either case.
