Newly discovered text messages obtained by The Federalist reveal two key federal law enforcement officials conspired to meet with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) judge who presided over the federal case against Michael Flynn. The judge, Rudolph Contreras, was recused from handling the case just days after accepting the guilty plea of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser who was charged with making false statements to federal investigators.

The text messages about Contreras between controversial Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) lawyer Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, the senior FBI counterintelligence official who was kicked off Robert Mueller’s special counsel team, were deliberately hidden from Congress, multiple congressional investigators told The Federalist. In the messages, Page and Strzok, who are rumored to have been engaged in an illicit romantic affair, discussed Strzok’s personal friendship with Contreras and how to leverage that relationship in ongoing counterintelligence matters.

“Rudy is on the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court]!” Page excitedly texted Strzok on July 25, 2016. “Did you know that? Just appointed two months ago.”

“I did,” Strzok responded. “I need to get together with him.”

“[He] said he’d gotten on a month or two ago at a graduation party we were both at.”

Contreras was appointed to the top surveillance court on May 19, 2016, federal records show.

The pair even schemed about how to set up a cocktail or dinner party just so Contreras, Strzok, and Page could speak without arousing suspicion that they were colluding. Strzok expressed concern that a one-on-one meeting between the two men might require Contreras’ recusal from matters in which Strzok was involved.

“[REDACTED] suggested a social setting with others would probably be better than a one on one meeting,” Strzok told Page. “I’m sorry, I’m just going to have to invite you to that cocktail party.”

“Have to come up with some other work people cover for action,” Strzok added.

“Why more?” Page responded. “Six is a perfectly fine dinner party.”

They've always done that. However, we didn't hear about Russians showing up at the voting stations, putting a gun to anyone's head, and demanding how they vote. Still, after a year and a half, there is no evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians. Not one shred of evidence. Even IF, that is not necessarily illegal. Having business dealings with Russian banks is not illegal either. Having sex with a porn star isn't even illegal. Paying someone off for their silence might be illegal, IF the funds came from campaign contributions or the President directly, while he was president. People are paid off every day, without admitting guilt, just because it relieves one from the legal battles and expenses, which can be a tremendous burden of time and resources. We live in a time when people concoct stories and destroy lives. I'm more focused on what kind of job he's doing as President, not his past personal life.

Bottom line is: we are getting the results we voted for. Economically, he's better than Obama. Employment rate...He's better than Obama. National security...He's better than Obama. GDP, much better than Obama. Our taxes, better than under Obama. Black and Hispanic unemployment, much lower than under Obama. Number of people on Food stamps and other government assistance...much lower than under Obama. Work force participation rate, much higher than under Obama. Care of our military veterans, much better than under Obama. Our trade deals are going to be much better than under Obama. And it goes on and on....

Go ahead and cite the U.S. criminal code that states said collusion is a crime. While your at it, be specific on what collusion with Russia Trump has committed. Also explain what advantage this gave him. Mueller has been looking for it for a year and several months now. I'm sure he wants to get his hands on what it is you seem to know. The only thing Mueller has been able to find is that thirteen Russian nationals bought ads and used social media to spread memes to TRY and effect the election. Assistant AG Rosenstein, CLEARLY stated that neither Trump nor ANY of his staff had contact or interaction with these Russians. Furthermore, he made it crystal clear that none of their efforts effected the election. As far as Trump doing is "damndest" to kill the investigation, you have to be joking. You realize that if that was the case he could simply fire Mueller at will, right? I would like to see what you think his "damndest" efforts are. I hope it isn't his public comments and tweets that there wasn't any collusion or that he calls it a witch hunt and thinks it a should be wrapped up. Are you aware that the Congressional oversight committee produced a finding that they did not find any collusion. As far as your statement that it is only a small percentage of the population that thinks the collusion does not exist, that is what the media wants people to believe.

Lastly, perhaps you want to hold off responding until the U.S. Inspector General's (an Obama appointee btw) is report is released to the public. It may have significant impact on what exactly is going on here.

Why don't you care about that? Legalities aside. Putin kills those that oppose him or speak out against him. Russia is a largely corrupt and oppressed country. He has Drumpf in his pocket and wants his money back, hence the desire of Drumpf to lift sanctions and be pushed into even responding to new ones proposed.
