Who said Muslims? I said Islamic extremists, which there is a real problem with in some of the countries you mentioned. The President has the authority to determine who is let in, based on risk to our security. Last time I checked, "Muslim" isn't a race, but an ideology, or religion, take your pick. Drug dealers? Hell yes, Mexico is full of them and they move their products and people through our borders. Nobody hates Mexicans, but we are against illegal immigration because we have laws and a nation without a secure border is not a nation for long. It's an issue of national security because we don't know who we're getting when undocumented people cross into our land. I can attest to the fact that, where I used to live, around 50% of the daily jail roster was people from Mexico, most of which are here illegally, committing some pretty heinous crimes. Rape, murder, drugs, drive by shootings, gang activity, sex with minors, etc. Singling out bad apples is not racist. Trump was not addressing all Mexicans when he ran for office, only the bad apples. I have family members who have been waiting their turn to immigrate for years. People circumventing the system, then taking advantage of government services pisses us all off. We pay our taxes to support programs that benefit people who shouldn't even be here.

And you provided ZERO information to support the collusion claim is true. You have already convicted someone without a sherd of actual presented evidence. If you want to know why people support this President it is because he spoke about issues that are important to us. Things like better trade deals, border security, making sure our military is in the shape it needs to be and in general focusing on domestic problems rather then being focused on the rest of the world. So far in my opinion he is living up to the plan he campaigned on.

As far as your racist claim, I hope you are not basing that on citizens wanting their government to take measures to protect them from Islamic terrorism, wanting a secure border and wanting people to respect our immigration laws and process. Again who was an Obama appointee. Additionally he made the decision based on recommendation by the DOJ's internal ethics team.

I'm not a conservative but I think many of us Trump voters have answered this already. I will restate why I voted for him -

For starters, Hillary cheated in the primary. Her choice of a VP candidate was also an outright snubbing of the left. Like Trump, I am also largely a protectionist when it comes to economics. Trump also campaigned much harder than his opponent and deserved to win. Trump ran to the left of the Democratic party on foreign interventions. He also routinely ridiculed the tragic Bush legacy of the Iraq War. These were all deciding factors for me.

This whole process is going to take considerable time. Mostly likely this year and the next. The problem is people want to see swift and immediate action. You can't expect that considering the enormity of the problem. What we want is to see that all the bad actors are found and prosecuted. That takes time. We live here Drew. We saw and lived everyday of what Obama was doing to this country. I tried to see some benefit in what he was doing and kept supporting him long after almost everybody I knew had seen the disaster coming.

When our economy stayed stagnant while more and more of our people slipped below the poverty level because no living-wage jobs were being created, and only the poorest could get healthcare (yes, that is what Obama care became) because either they weren't working or they weren't working full time at a job with benefits. The premiums became so high for those making a decent middle class income that they actually had to forego health insurance and pay the tax penalty.

When illegal aliens and refugees were getting more government benefits and through the largess of our government using the taxes of the working people of this country, and in many cases living better than those working Americans and our Veterans; when the children of those non-Americans can get a free ride through the best colleges while we can't afford to send ours without going over our heads in debt; when Americans are being beaten, raped and murdered by illegals and refugees and NOTHING is done about it.

When it got so that racist protesters could riot and destroy neighborhoods and towns and block entire roadways because criminals of their race were being dealt with legally by police, and the police were being picked off like sitting ducks while trying to enforce the laws and not one word was said in criticism of the behavior of the rioters or cop killers, let alone any expression of regret for the loss of police lives, by our President I lost all of what little respect I could still muster for him.

Those are some of the reasons we voted for Trump and we really don't care about all off these gossip rag headlines. I don't care how many women or mobsters he had whatever dealing with in his past as long as they have nothing to do with his presidency.

Your attempt to show a cause and effect here (Trump is embattled because he fired/tweeted) is false.
Trump was ALREADY strongly opposed by the establishment (including his own party) prior to even winning.
As for Comey's FBI - they too were against Trump prior to his win.
