As TNC pointed out, when you commit a crime, you risk a lot of things. For those that have children one of the risks is being separated from them. Those that are crossing the border illegally are aware they are taking risk(s). They gambled and lost and subjected their children to the situation. There is a very simple solution if they want avoid the risks and consequences of committing the crime. Don't do the crime.

Also, crossing the border illegally is very risky in itself. There are multiple dangers. It's been reported that 80% of women and girls are molested or raped on their trek to the border.Why is no one asking why these illegal aliens would put their children at such risks?

Good question. Apparently most Americans have or we wouldn't be in the situation we are in right now. I for one do not trust the government to investigate itself. Here's a question, did Horowitz state in his report that there wasn't a target during the investigation? Evidently not, based on reporting. Wouldn't that be a "significant" finding? As far as the hearings and "oversight" committees they're just for show.

Here's the interesting thing. People in his position are supposed to avoid even the mere appearance of impropriety. All these months the contents of the Strzok and Page texts have been known. Yet he is still employed. That alone should have gotten him fired. It is clearly unbecoming of a federal agent.

I loved Horowitz's answers when asked about the meeting in "Andy's office" between Strzok, others and McCabe himself. This is the meeting where the infamous "insurance policy" plan was discussed. Horowitz answered that McCabe claimed that he was "not there" and Strzok claimed he was. When Horowitz was questioned that it clearly shows someone is lying, Horowitz had little to say about it.

4) Congress can fix this. Congress can change the rules so the Flores consent decree will no longer apply, and it can appropriate more money for family shelters at the border. This is an obvious thing to do that would eliminate the tension between enforcing our laws and keeping family units together. The Trump administration is throwing as many resources as it can at the border to expedite the process, and it desperately wants the Flores consent decree reversed. Despite some mixed messages, if the administration had its druthers, family units would be kept together and their cases settled quickly.
