So I haven't been closely following this recent development. So here is a question. Was the FBI every given the DNC "hacked" servers to examine? I hope that they are not relying on the analysis performed by Crowd Strike.

The indictments are a purely political spectacle. It is just an effort by the powers that be to undermine the Trump/Putin talks. Nobody from Russian intel will ever be extradited. This is all bullshit.

....And yea, they are relying on Crowstrike's faulty analysis. They are referred to as "company 1" in the indictment.

Thank you TNC, I had forgotten that. I think the 18 human smugglers that ICE arrested yesterday is a much bigger accomplishment than Mueller 12 meddling Russian and they didn't even get a press conference.

I think the big Russian meddling thing is a smoke screen anyway. The DOJ is feeling some heat so they fed the reeking masses a few crumbs. The phishing they supposedly did didn't steal 30,000 emails. I'm a lot more interested in the 600,000 emails on Weinie's computer.

I'm not buying this DOJ allegation that Russia hacked the DNC servers. As it has been mentioned here, the FBI has never examined the DNC servers, the KEY evidence. So we have a Justice Department that is willing to indict a foreign government without doing their own due diligence. That's nuts! In my opinion there is merit to the allegations that the information was stolen by DNC staffer Seth Rich and that is why he took the room temperature challenge. It seems to me he was Wikileaks' source. Notice how the DOJ is still looking to prosecute Assange?

Looks like California is on course to throw Feinstein out on her ass and elect someone like New York did. A hard left socialist. In reality, a Communist.

So the question is why is the guy still roaming around freely? He has publicly admitted to committing two federal crimes. Sure CA is a sanctuary state but by law they can't stop ICE and the DOJ from enforcing the law. If push came to shove they can't stop the federal government from going in and arresting this guy. In this era of mob rule, a fellow like Rep. Steve Cohen might want to keep a sharp eye out for crowds of people with buckets of tar and garbage bags full of white feathers. Back home in Tennessee, he might also want to keep an eye out for any crowds carrying a rail. As in “the thing on which they might run him out of town. Funny thing about this cat Mr. Cohen. He already looks a little like he’s been tarred and feathered. Or maybe he rode into town on a rail. Anyway, he looks wind-blown and deeply in need of a bath. He sports that hobo-chic look popular among crazy leftist politicians in Washington.

He’s been there stinking up the place so long that flies appear to buzz around his unkempt half-head of hair. But like everyone in Washington, he does appear well-fed and deeply imbibed. His ruddy red face perpetually shines greasy. Yeah, being in Congress for some of these people is the best job they could ever hope for — they could never make a living anywhere else. Good pay to sit around and run your big mouth. Large staff. Free food.

And then there is the power. These people have the most awesome power — and sober responsibility — that can be held by mere mortals in a civil society. Judges and juries can send people to jail for life. They can even sentence criminals to die by execution.
But these people in Congress — people like Steve Cohen — have the sole power to declare war. They have the power to conscript our finest, most decent and honorable young citizens and send them off to war to die in defense of their country. It is a truly awesome power and a haunting responsibility.

Many in Congress view this power as a sacredly serious duty.

And then there are people like Steve Cohen.

In the throes of a partisan temper tantrum last week, Steve Cohen casually denigrated all of our bravest warriors who have been sent into wars by politicians in Washington and gotten wounded. Or killed. Peering from his lofty perch in a congressional hearing room, the disheveled pol told disgraced FBI tool Peter Strzok: “If I could give you a Purple Heart, I would.” That would be the Purple Heart that is awarded to American troops wounded or killed in battle. It is among the highest honors, awarded for selfless acts of daring heroism beyond the call of duty.

What, precisely, was it, Congressman Pig-Pen, that Mr. Strzok did to deserve this extraordinary honor? Was it cheating on his wife? Semper Fi, baby!

Was it using his government issued phone to send 50,000 viciously anti-Trump and anti-American text messages to his lover, who also worked for the FBI? Yeah, hot topic in any foxhole is how bad the country-hick Trump voters at Walmart smell. Was it Mr. Strzok’s avowed commitment to make sure Hillary Clinton won the presidency (i.e., not go to jail) in order to throw the election away from now-President Trump? Pretty sure that is not in any of the military field manuals. What the blazes was Steve Cohen talking about?

After tremendous and justified blowback from voters, Congressman Pig-Pen’s office issued a statement saying he did not mean the words he spoke and explaining that he was talking “metaphorically.”“I have nothing but the highest respect for members of the Armed Forces, especially those who have been awarded Purple Hearts, as well as the hard working men and women at the FBI,” Mr. Cohen supposedly said, according to the statement issued by his office.

Who knows if he actually means this. Perhaps is just speaking “metaphorically” again. Either way, it is a pathetic state of politics in America today that a sitting congressman — who has the sole power to send our troops to die in battle — could be capable of such blithe disrespect for the awesome sacrifices others have made for his wasted freedom.

I've always held a theory about work-related things - if it is important, management will do things to indicate this. Such as assigning the proper amount of resources, etc. If you are not interested in giving the top guy a raise, then don't tell me he was important and you have a lot of concerns when they quit.

Russia and other countries (and Soros) have been doing this stuff forever. And apparently they had this gigantic concern about it, but zero was done. I never heard any tough talk about Russia during the Obama admin. If Russia is so evil, why give control of Uranium to a company there? Why get paid for speeches there? Why work with their people to create a salacious document about your opponent? The FBI not taking possession of the server tells me all I need to know about how concerned they are. Zero.

I haven't feared Russia one ounce since the 90s. And I see that most of the cold war was just BS. Russia will no more nuke us than themselves. Will they continue to manipulate American-related things such as elections and economics - yep. And we do it as well. As does China and every other country with an interest of having some type of control.

People need to chill and relax a bit.

I’ve caught a bit of NBC News and some Fox (Martha) tonight, what in the hell are they all screaming about Trump not trusting our intelligence? All we heard for years from these people was how bad our intelligence screwed up in Iraq over WMD, everyone and their brother beat the hell out of Bush because he trusted intelligence and now beating on Trump because he isn’t kissing their ass. Screw these people, fucking Obama was partially elected on beating up Bush(Republicans) over intelligence “failures”. Our so called intelligence has so far proven nothing of substance on Russian meddling or collusion. Liars, all.

Word was it was already drafted. I'd love to see it.

An appointee does not require impeachment to be terminated. They can be fired by the POTUS, as appointees work at the discretion and pleasure of the President. I surmise that the only reason this has not happened is that it might make a case for obstruction, if Trump were to fire him. So, who else could fire Rosenstein without repercussions? I think Sessions is out, due to his recusal of the Russia probe, but I could be wrong. So, maybe only congress, by vote of impeachment, as this point. In any case, that asshole needs to go!
