A Dream Ended on a Mountain Road: The Cyclists and the ISIS Militants
A grainy cellphone clip recorded by a driver shows what happened next: The men’s Daewoo sedan passes the cyclists and then makes a sharp U-turn. It doubles back, and aims directly for the bikers, ramming into them and lurching over their fallen forms. In all, four people were killed: Mr. Austin, Ms. Geoghegan and cyclists from Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Two days later, the Islamic State released a video showing five men it identified as the attackers, sitting before the ISIS flag. They face the camera and make a vow: to kill “disbelievers.”

No, he was personally picked by that one guy in the WH to work for him. For a while, anyway.

The left and MSM are calling this the President's first step in quashing free speech.

Of course they are going to brag about it. Who's going to stop them? They have no reason to hide their actions or plans anymore. Why? Because they know for a fact they will get away with it. How many people see this stuff and are "outraged" over it yet continue to use said platforms?
All this talk about foreign interference and here we have a foreigner (Soros) openly supporting and funding interference. Not a peep from anyone, including Trump on doing something about it. As long as Trump and his administration give them rope, they will use said rope to hang Trump.

Sure he can, the question is what is he waiting for? Some the reasons suggested why he hasn't are as follows:
- Doing so before the mid-term elections could have a negative effect on them.
- If he fires Sessions there is not enough support from "both sides" for Trump to able to get a conformation on a replacement.
As long as the Mueller "investigation" continues, it will continue to be a big distraction for Trump. It's obvious by now that neither Sessions nor Congress is going to do anything about this currently baseless "investigation". The "investigation" keeps moving the target. You had it filing charges for crimes unrelated to the purpose of the "investigation". You had it filing charges against entities that didn't exist at the time of the alleged crime. You had the "investigation" filing charges against individuals that do not reside in the U.S. and sure as hell are not going to be extradited to be tried in federal court. Now the "investigation" has moved onto obstruction of justice. I'm a bit surprised that there hasn't been a mention here about the report that WH counsel has been "cooperating" with the investigation.
Trump is a smart man but like any human being he can and does make mistakes. I somewhat feel he is under estimating the deep state. This isn't a business deal or bid for a construction project. This is a game for all the marbles. Trumps opponents will play as dirty as it gets. There is nothing off limits for achieving their goal. I'm sure you get my drift. The question is, does Trump realize it?, I question whether he does.

I've also wondered if the President is underestimating the depth of treachery he's facing. But, even though I don't personnaly care much for Rudy Giuliani, I think he's more politically savvy than the President.

Perhaps some are contemplating what it may mean for them if they don't return a verdict our crooked justice system wants.

So the question is, if no such crime for collusion exists what the hell is Trump's WH counsel doing about challenging it?

Cooperating with Special Counsel. And so far, there are no charges to dispute. First they actually have to accuse Trump of something for him to defend it. So far that does not exist.
Boomchild wrote:But if as the article states that collusion in itself is not a crime, they should be able to argue that the investigation itself is baseless.

Well, I think they have. But they also can't be seen interfering. The media will spin it too hard. You have to remember, every single move this admin makes, the media spin it as evil.
