REALLY?
From 1970 till TODAY....
Well, first of all your chart seems to be cut off at 2015. But, it's irrelevant anyway. READ WHAT I SAID. I did not specifically mention income taxes...but ALL revenue into the government. Income taxes are only a portion. The truth is that federal revenue went from 3.32 trillion to 3.33 trillion...the smallest change in nearly 50yrs. The FACT is that it came nowhere close to making up for the tax cuts and caused a huge spike in the deficit.
Looks like gas prices have always historically paralleled crude prices... meaning as the source commodity cost rises, so does the consumer product. This is NORMAL.
Well, duh, that's my point.
Everything costs money, nothing is free...
Including shipping products from here to there....and when gas prices go up, it increases inflation. THAT is my point.
unless you live in Utopian, Socialist..."Monker-World"
I'm far from a socialist. And, at least I can read and understand things, which you seem to be having a problem with.
Maybe Drew should start selling MR CD's for less than it costs him to have them made..
When it costs more to ship his CD's to "whereever" he stores them, and then to those who buy them...maybe he should consider raising his prices - which is what the rest of the world would do.
Stay out of economics Monker... you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
You didn't even read what you were replying to, made up shit that had nothing to do with my post, and attempted to make witty insults...but, instead, all of this just makes you look like an ignorant dick.
As I said, the self-inflicted wounds are being ignored - and you seem to want to ignore them.
