I'd pick Van Halen with David Lee Roth because both sides need the cash. However, you never know with The Police.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for responding to my poll. You'll have to create your own poll if you want to call it your own.

Merry Christmas,

As much as I would love to see Perry and Roth fronting the bands they helped make great, I have to say we have a better shot at getting The Police back together for a tour.

I think, definitively, Roth will never tour with VH again. Those two cats don't see eye to eye. Even if Roth is doing the humanitarian gig right now, that won't change Eddie's opinion of him. Eddie is too mired in his own life to worry about dealing with the wild stallion that is Diamond Dave.

I don't think that Perry will ever tour with Journey again. I just bought the TRIAL BY FIRE cd again, and heard it again fresh after a long time. I think it's pretty great. I even dig the extra track. But I don't think Stevo wants to do the tour grind ever again. He should just be like the Beatles... produce new music and stay at home. There's too much talent there for it to go to waste... it's his calling.

Having said that, I would have LOVED a Police reunion like 10 years ago, but I don't think that Sting would do it. His ego was the main reason the Police disbanded all those years ago. And truth be told, he has NEVER reached the level of music he achieved with the POLICE on his own. The time for a POLICE reunion has come and gone.

There's something to be said about EGO, and it's part in the slaying of the above three bands. Too much has happened between the parties, and we the listeners have been robbed of some great music.
