
I'm talking about precision, control, reining it in, and NO "bombast"...on the songs "Still She Cries", "It's Just The Rain", and "TBF"
Back in the day, Skaters had to focus and do intricate patterns on the ice, PRECISELY....that's WHY it was called "Figure Skating".
THEN, they can do the "physical fireworks" of triple-jump combinations; fancy footwork at top speed, etc.
IMO, this could be applied to Journey, on the TBF CD.
I mean, c'mon....we KNOW they could TOTALLY "rock-out"....just listen to "Edge of the Blade" or "Message of Love", for that matter; I'll wait...

But I think they had the maturity on this CD to perform skillfully, and quietly....which, for Mr. Schon, must've been TORTURE!! LOL
I've been listening to this CD this week, and these are my thoughts on it....I know they don't have to be yours....
...and yes, I'm "bracing myself".....
