Right and it was recorded straight through, 1 show.
Don't mistake it with GHL which has songs from the 6th AND 7th.
Dude, GHL sucks, and oh by the way, was recorded 2 years after the 1981 show in Houston, Texas.

Not ALL of it, tool.
It's a hodgepodge of the ESC4P3 and Frontiers tours and the ESC4P3 tracks on it came from 11/6 and 11/7 Houston.
If you hadn't thrown GHL out you'd know this.

Every live show I've gone to or heard was NEVER the same vocally, and before you rip me a new one, by that, I mean you can be singing along with him and think he's going one way with it and totally goes another and blows socks off. THAT is what I've missed since he's been gone. You never knew if he would sing the song one certain way. It kept the music spontaneous. Neal always improvises and for the record, he is a guitar GOD. Totally unnoticed by the media, but he is a legend.
That's what made Perry a head or two above everyone else. As far as Neal being unnoticed, I guess that depends on where you get your news from. He's heralded, but like you, I think not nearly enough. This has been posted before, but take a look and see what a true musician can do. This is nowhere near his material, but IMO steals the fucking show.

Dallas was after Houston, on 11/7. Not the day before.
Houston was 11/5 and 11/6. The filming was done on the 6th.
GHL has song from these two shows. Not Dallas.

The filming was done all on one day, but the sound recording was done in two days. Perry used vocals from both days to get the best backing vocals possible for the DVD. Or so I read.

Sounds like there are like 3 Rosses, 3 Neals, 3 Cains and maybe another Perry or 6 all singing BG on the DVD.
I've NO problem with that at all, either.

i keep hearing that the bose systems are good, but overpriced. aesthetically, they sure are nice & invisible.
i know i just have to go listen & compare a bunch of systems, but it's so damned overwhelming when i don't even know where to start.
