That's what I've been asking you for weeks now.

It was a dumb question and underpinned with innuendo that is actually taken very seriously by some on the right. Even some people on this forum have made the antichrist claim. The pretext of humor doesn't absolve him of his stupidity.

I already said that but the word is "some" not "Glenn Beck". I can tell you that if I that if I ever thought that Glenn really believed Obama was the antichrist, I'd be calling him on it just like you, MM, and Rip-n-Read are.

Yep, thanks to sites like MediaMatters. I encourage everyone to watch it.
Beck, to his limited credit, had to apologise on air last week for unfairly playing Bill Clinton out of context cocerning global warming.
It's too bad his audience isn't aware that 99% of Beck's material suffers from this same problem.

At least Glenn has the fortitude to admit his failure, unlike MM and Rip-n-Read.

I suggest you re-read Kerry's speech on the senate floor on the war resolution.
While ultimately a "yes" vote, it was loaded with the very concerns that have all now come to pass.
War was a last resort, and was to be endeavored only as a broad multilateral effort.

"Let me be clear, the vote I will give to the President is for one reason and one reason only: To disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, if we cannot accomplish that objective through new, tough weapons inspections in joint concert with our allies."

How about the statements Kerry and the like made prior to Bush even being in office about how much of a threat Iraq was in the Middle East? I'm not pointing these out to make a case for the war but just to point out that it's disingenuous to point out Bush's inconsistencies and then not hold the others up to the same standards.

MediaMatters has a section right on their homepage with retractions. Olbermann has had to interupt his broadcast and offer an apology several times.
Continued statements like this only serve to prove you're running on secondhand info dictated from above.

Doesn't matter.
The campaign for war originated within the White House, not Statesmen grandstanding on the Senate floor ("you don't introduce new products in August", remember?)

Another sawed off shotgun blast to whatever remains of this war's legitimacy.

I'll retract my statement when MM and Rip-n-Read admit to their trumped up charges against Beck in this matter.

Funny how your side always resorts to this when it's pointed out that your liberal heroes were following the company line just like you claim the Republicans were/are. To re-use your statement from above...

They are Beck's own words. What was "trumped up"? Where is the crime?

No, frankly, I just don’t have the energy to re-hash all 429 votes for the Iraq War.
If your sad existence permits such an exhaustive act, by all means, have at it.
Most of my “liberal heroes” (Kucinich, Feingold, Kennedy) didn’t vote for it.
Your one-dimensional caricature of Kerry’s thoughtful pre-war sentiments already demonstrates where entertaining such a discussion would lead.

As for pre-Dubya enthusiasm for war, I have already spoken at length of PNAC’s petitioning of Bill Clinton for regime change.
Many of these same PNAC members would later go on to serve in Bush's cabinet.

From http://dictionary.die.net/lying

lying
adj : given to lying; "a lying witness"; "a mendacious child"
[syn: lying, mendacious]
n : the deliberate act of deviating from the truth [syn: prevarication,

Did he or did he not ask Hagee if Obama was the antichrist?
That’s what was reported.
So again I ask, what exactly was the lie?
You’re like that dehydrated old fart of a Supreme Justice, who, when pressed to define what obscenity is, resorted to “I know it when I see it.”

Here's the original story that started it all.
I encourage you and others to pinpoint the lie.
