I want to echo what both Don said in his posts and what Glenn said as well. Agree with you two 100%!
Look, so what if people over-analyze or "analize" something a professional rock band does? Keep in mind, these guys have made, and probably still make, mega bucks for their career path. I'm sorry, but to me, anything that's six figures and up is mega bucks to me! As being public figures, they should know they put themselves up for being under the microscope...that's just how it is. Don't like it, don't be a celebrity! If I don't do my job exactly the way my company/agency/supervisor(s) think I should do it, then they're going to tell me about, I'm going to get written up, suspended without pay, or worse yet fired. That's how it is in the real world. Believe or not, the fans are in most ways, the "bosses". We have every right to analyze the product that our hard earned dollars are going to. Maybe some in here are well off, hang out at the beach on a daily basis, live the good life. Good for you, but the rest of us living in reality are a bit more frugal with our money. $10 for something that is not a need should be spent on something we are going to feel is a good investment. If we don't enjoy it, it's $10 that could have been used for more important things like groceries or gas money.
And again, like Don said, this is not an official fan board. I would say IF this board ever became such, and differing views from all over the spectrum were no longer able to voice their opinions, then that is the day this board dies. I enjoy the differing views. Yes, it gets heated sometimes, but just because people are arguing does not mean they're not "hearing" what the other side says. Just means that both sides are very spirited about their beliefs, and there is nothing wrong with that whatsoever.
