No to all of the above. You are 100% correct. I point again to why: the audience. They're playing to the wrong audience. I've yet to read anyone make this point other than myself and I'm stunned. It seems so clear to me and I know my vision is no better than anyone else's.

JOURNEY has to reach out to a younger audience. Thery're drying up and blowing away as we speak and nobody cares.

This show premiered last night. I thought its was excellent. Can't wait to see more! It's staying true to the original Colombian version. Great tones, genuine acting and comedy that borders on slapstick but never goes over the edge.

This is what I'm talking about in regards to this idea. The buying power has always come from the kids. The kids today aren't interested in buying another JOURNEY album filled with sappy ballads or lightning rockers. They want diversity. They want to listen to something that takes them here, there, and everywhere. A Latin rhythm album can do just that. There's certainly enough young fans of the genre who will eat it up faster than they'll be able to keep it on the store shelves.

Not even a fraction of users here. Not even a fraction of JOURNEY fans. If the poll was reversed it wouldn't mean much, either.

Quite honestly your obsession with this is bordering on creepy....ive been following this since 2003 or 2004 (wasnt a member here) and if you took all the times you have brought this up, and all the opinions you've gotten they are identical....you are obsessed with it, Journey fans as a majority dont like it. I wouldn't mind a few songs here or there, but i really dont like straight-up latin music at all for the most part, and if my favorite band made an album and I hated 90% of it, i would not be happy...

For the bigger record: ANYTHING they play beyond the "Dirty Dozen" tends to send people for beer. If you'd been paying attention to Journey interviews you'd know that as they've commented numerous times about how unwilling the fans are to listen to anything but.

I wonder why it is that the setlists have now been reduced to almost nothing but...?
