Cain dipping more and more into the Nashville scene.
Arnel having a family halfway around the world and not being thrilled with life on the road, which is well documented.
Ross turning 64.
See 'em while you can.

With this being Journey's third consecutive year on the road, you may be right.
Cain can spend the down time helping his daughter and Pineda can do his little solo tour, singing Bon Jovi medleys before his voice flames out.

+1 I bet Valory would be a consideration also. I mean, who can resist the guy who squirts his audience members in the eye.![]()

Nah, his playing is too one-dimensional.

And who's gonna write his bass lines?

Nobody. He's not going to be in this lineup. Carlos also may not realize this yet but he's got a whole different animal on his hands than the 16 year old apprentice he had back in the day. This venture will be interesting. Think they will try and out ego each other a couple times?

you can blame that on Clive Davis.... he sold Carlos on that idea..

Yes, he did, but Carlos didn't have to keep doing it album after album after album. He made a shitload of money just off Supernatural and Shaman.

correct... but its a safe bet that this next album won't be a return to guest singers, or pop.
Especially with Rolie in the mix. Greg's a purist.
