There you go. Apparently I'm not the only one. Now you're accusing Steve Perry of lying. Lmao.

SP of lying? What the hell is wrong with you? I didn't say he hadn't recorded a record, just that he didn't know exactly WHEN he would release it and he sure as hell didn't QUIT Journey to do it. He could have done that BEFORE he did ROR.

Once he started recording it after taking at LEAST A YEAR off, is when he probably decided to put it out, who knows for sure? And he sure as hell wasn't fracturing the stone by putting out another solo album. Don't forget, Neal did that even before SP did Street Talk. And Neal's excuse was that what he was doing "didn't sound like Journey", and what SP did, sounded just like Journey. What the hell is anything that SP does SUPPOSED to sound like? His voice IS the sound of Journey.

Yea, I'm accusing SP of lying. Do me a favor and use your great intellect  and read my posts thoroughly, before accusing me of accusing anyone of anything. If you don't, I'll be forced to run and tattle to a moderator because my feelings got hurt. And YOU'RE laughing YOUR ass off? Now that's funny stuff, even for you.

Don't be dense. The reason he gave for "Against the Wall" not being released was because of Sony's takeover at that time. It was intended for release and yet the new corporate management declined. Perry claimed to be burned out, "dry", tired, and other expressions intended to mask his egomaniacal tendencies and yet, two years after the truncated tour, he intended to release another solo effort. He cracked the stone (though it wasn't the first time).

By the way, your continued responses prove my point. You can't keep your word.

When something gets under my skin, like a rash, I do have a hard time not responding, I admit.

And 2 years IS enought time to get recharged. His mother had died and he was moving on. I'm not going to change your mind and you sure as hell aren't going to change mine.

So this will be my last post on this, if you can promise the same. Can YOU do it? Let's see. A simple yes or no. I'll bet you can't. You like to hear yourself talk just as much as I do.

Perhaps it would inspire you to be a little wiser and a little more careful before making solemn vows you can't honor? This isn't the first time, you know.

On the contrary, you can change mine with facts. Arianddu made a persuasive argument regarding the complications of Steve Perry's surgery and why the need for time was so great. But simply spilling empty dogmata as you do on such an active basis? No, it's not enough. You must substantiate and prove, not to try to make bullshit claims on the stance that Steve Perry is infallible.

This is your problem. I truly don't think you understand the concept of logic. I didn't make the claim that this would be my final post. I'll continue to argue as long as I please, which is an indefinite amount of time. Don't try to lump us in the same category. I tend to keep my word.

I didn't say you said it would be your final post. I'm challenging you to MAKE it your last. Can you do it. I'll argue as long as I please also, but you aggrivate me to a level that I know I won't be able to stop resonding to your blowhard, baiting posts.

Just saying. If you can stop I will, if you can't, we can argue as long as you want.

Can you do it? Can you stop? With all of your great mental abilities, can you make yourself stop posting on this? I'm betting that you can't.

I can. Just stop and I will. Hmm..........Something tells me you won't. Watch.
