In all seriousness, it makes me wonder if there is a limit to delusion. Whaddya think, Dr. Rhiannon?

There you go. Apparently I'm not the only one. Now you're accusing Steve Perry of lying. Lmao.
Gideon wrote:Don't be dense. The reason he gave for "Against the Wall" not being released was because of Sony's takeover at that time. It was intended for release and yet the new corporate management declined. Perry claimed to be burned out, "dry", tired, and other expressions intended to mask his egomaniacal tendencies and yet, two years after the truncated tour, he intended to release another solo effort. He cracked the stone (though it wasn't the first time).
By the way, your continued responses prove my point. You can't keep your word.

And 2 years IS enought time to get recharged. His mother had died and he was moving on. I'm not going to change your mind and you sure as hell aren't going to change mine.
So this will be my last post on this, if you can promise the same. Can YOU do it? Let's see. A simple yes or no. I'll bet you can't. You like to hear yourself talk just as much as I do.

Perhaps it would inspire you to be a little wiser and a little more careful before making solemn vows you can't honor? This isn't the first time, you know. And 2 years IS enought time to get recharged. His mother had died and he was moving on. On the contrary, you can change mine with facts. Arianddu made a persuasive argument regarding the complications of Steve Perry's surgery and why the need for time was so great. But simply spilling empty dogmata as you do on such an active basis? No, it's not enough. You must substantiate and prove, not to try to make bullshit claims on the stance that Steve Perry is infallible. So this will be my last post on this, if you can promise the same. Can YOU do it? This is your problem. I truly don't think you understand the concept of logic. I didn't make the claim that this would be my final post. I'll continue to argue as long as I please, which is an indefinite amount of time. Don't try to lump us in the same category. I tend to keep my word.
